Hey gang, here's a demo from the songwriting stream today! There's some timestretching on it so not the highest quality vocal wise, but I really like these melodies and vibe! It's very fun.

Also the upload isn't working again so uploading in attachments!

Can you not always do livestreams when I’m sleeping?! 😅

Stephanie Bruso

Thanks Joel. I’m very sad right now but this makes it better

Sarah

Sounds nice so far, but in my opinion the drums are too loud.

Jen 🦙

That’s so groovy, definitely see myself putting it on and being a fridge around the house in the upcoming months! 💃🏼

I liked the song and enjoyed watching the stream. Except when you messed up my name. But it's fine.

Hayley

Bahhh, I missed it again 🥺

This was so, it grabbed at me. Like your hands on each side of my head,"Listen to me , dammit....Gumby.". The melody is very joyous and contagious, really wonderful. Sorry, the last word in reference to Eddie Murphy and a skit he used to do on Saturday Night Live. He dressed as a Gumby toy(a early 1950's toy, no, I never played -i was told by older siblings) and he would state,"I'm Gumby, dammit .". It was really funny at the time, still makes me giggle. I couldn't resist a bit of humor, your demo sounds like light joyous tune. It also has this intensity that is grabbing, I can't describe it any better as holding my attention. Cornering me to listen. It's not in an angry way, like a joyous shout into the world. Can't wait to hear after vocals are cleaned up. I heard what you said, for the most part. I enjoy the fact I understand and can hear your lyrics. You are a really good songwriter. Let's not forget how you are the whole package. These demos are awesome starting points. Thank you for letting us hear, and give you insights. After a long workday, another day off full of to dos....it's wonderful to have a little something from you to help me relax, and enjoy a moment to breathe. Thank you ❤️☺️❤️☺️

Maybe it's the time stretcher it was kinda messy. I relistened like 7x before writing. Can you give it another try?

Interesting. Maybe the drums felt even louder when I listened first but they're still or maybe nevertheless a bit too loud for my taste.

Melinda Young

Wow that turned out really good. Love it

Cas

Happy song makes me happy. Still dancing.

Courtney Walker

This is definitely getting stuck in my head, in the best way possible. It's going to end up amazing!

Mari

omg what, again!? doesn't patreon know that you have epic music you want to share? how dare it try to take away this sweet, sweet music from us! unacceptable smh now that's out of the way, I really vibed with this song, more so than the one from thursday's stream. I do hope you'll want to fully flesh these out at some point 💛

Sugary Magnolia

Funny you reacted last week or so that you normally start with the lyrics and with this song you didn't do that again 🙊🙈 still loving the vibe you go for 😆
