Changed the camera angle. Tried 30 different ways of lighting it. This is what I finally came up with. What do you think? I really feel like it's time to move on now haha. I think this looks pretty good!

Getting VERY tired of smoothies. Hoping to try some solid foods this weekend :)

If I keep working even more on the lighting and camera setup, feel free to shout at me in the comments. Time to actually finish this thing :)

I think part of it is the juxtaposition between the back lighting behind you and then like the plants being lit only on the top and not in the bottom or something just looks a little weird

The angle is great, step away from the adjustments! 😊 That said, I’m someone who’s easily distracted so, feel free to move little bits and pieces in the background throughout the video keep yourself amused 😂

Like this background and lighting 😊 I think you should keep wearing the more colorful T-shirts or jackets when you start filming, that makes you pop more 😉 (if that doesn't mean extra work with editing)

This looks pretty pretty lol Perfect camera angle, great lights - maybe little to much “halo” light behind your head, it looks a bit “cut out”. Plants 🌱 lit well. Try blue or teal colour tshirts, but red is great as well. Great job with this setup 💪🏼🔥😍

Honestly I’m not a fan of that halo effect 🤷🏻‍♀️ Darker background definitely works better for you but too much light around the hair/head gives weird vibes that you’re cut out of one thing and put in there. Idk man

Ooo I really like this one! I think the near symmetry is working, and your jacket kinda plays into that. Would say this is the one to keep and play around with if you want, maybe a softer focus on the background or some twinkle/colored lights, Shrek posters etc. Hope you have a wonderful weekend and can eat some more solid food! Good soup 👌 is only good soup for so long.

The light source on the left of the image is a little too harsh- giving the right shadows (look at the shadows on the plants and the side of your face) try a diffuser to spread the light source out or turn down the level on the left and balance the right with the same levels-

I was really off put by the halo lighting bc it looks like it’s green screened in but the more i look at this the more i don’t hate it. Idk if that’s good or not lol

The halo reminds me of 90s green-screen CGI, but all I'm seeing is a still frame so it could look great in the video! I would worry more about content and less about color - unless this is a good way to stall if you're still working out the content 😄

He mentioned wanting to do an orange and teal colourway for his studio and buy teal clothes, but with this pic having the plants in the background.. the warm red really compliments them nicely. It'll be interesting to see how he incorporates the orange he wants to add.

The colors look great, Joel!! Bright (without being “in your face”, too bright), clearly defined. About becoming sick/tired of smoothies…are you able to at least drink some boba tea?!
