You can send this in for like a Scooby-Doo cartoon or something 😂

Airyckah Lane

Ohhhh.. this sounds like a fun one showing off ways to manipulate your voice post recording.. similar to “worth it”… but has a very.. cool like dance vibe to it…

rosie - o.

Imagine a drive down the dark streets of Miami or LA with Knight Rider bumping this.... those are the vibes

Dannielle O'Neill

Fever dream, but like...in the best way possible...if that makes any sense 🙃🖤 Super pumped to see what you're working so hard on, but don't rush. Take care. Appreciate you as well. ❤️

Aubrey Danielle

Oooo it is spooky 😬 but kinda cool! You gonna write theme songs for spooky shows now? 😉😆

Jen 🦙

This is giving 80s movie vibes, I’m here for it! Kinda intrigued to see where it would go if it was ever continued? 🙂 The mystery project sounds pretty exciting, look forward to seeing what it is! 😊

Courtney Walker

This definitely sounds like it belongs on a sci-fi tv show. It's got a spooky cool vibe. 😎

Hayley

Nice 👌🏼 Looking forward to this magical, mystery project x

Rainbowz Grace

Wooah, that's a weird one! Pretty epic ngl, I can jam with it- I'm picturing it playing in a futuristic video game while you're driving lol Super excited to see what you're working on!

Lianne Conroy

You say this new project is a little weird? Make it super weird!

Franceska

So, Mysterious song and mysterious video projekt, huh? It’s always worth waiting:))

I really like it, you should consider working on it and make it a complete song!! Maybe post the lyrics if possible? Awesome, looking forward to what this new project is!! And weird can be good!

Nice to hear from you. Song sounded interesting, not my favorite. The project is weird? That is going to be interesting to see how that goes. Did you get a chance to listen to Speak Now (Taylor’s version) and/or watch the new music video “I Can See You” ?

Becky Lorion

Different but it’s pretty cool! Very excited to find out what this mystery project is🧐 Appreciate you as always!

emy

It’s a cool insight into your creativity that you don’t even remember this song but it’s so full of ideas. Like, it seems like you threw a lot of interesting stuff at it before just totally forgetting about it, lol. Looking forward to the weird thing 🌝

Nataliekey

It's giving extraterrestrial 👽 like something aliens would listen to on their way to abduct me, I dig it 😂👍

Adina

The first couple of seconds are the spooky part. Good luck with the secret project!

JustSomeJK

CK DeP

I kinda like this spooky vibes it makes me think of Halloween vibes lol 🎃 Also, it's good to hear or take a step into different ways to use these different music genre's, mix it up a bit than what you're or us listen to or feel comfortable with 😀 Overall imo it sounds great! I really enjoy it! Btws, are you still in Sweden or are you back in L.A? @Roomie

Luna

I really love the verse, but the chorus doesn't quite fit yet. I hope you want to continue with this, I love the vibe! :)

Jess Haggstron

Clair (Teampanda)

This reminds me of the write a song about xx in an hour videos, the older ones where you explored vocal changing software and tonal shifting etc.. Definitely sounds like a good horror game/Halloween based song, it's a bop! How big is this archive file anyway? 😁 Have a good weekend Boel 💜

Teagan Ostrow44

But I’m excited for the project the big one

♠️ Aslyn Jobry ♠️

CK DeP
>>112884125

Same!! I was wondering if maybe he's made or recorded this maybe shortly after he made "Worth It" coz I can hear the similarly for the low or high vocals , layers , bending his vocals , voice & effects like he's done with the Worth It song 😀

Lisa Jasperson

Oh I think you should work on this. It has a super cool vibe

Mari

I don't know how to explain it, but the song is giving strong The Weeknd vibes and I am so fucking here for it 😎

Airyckah Lane

By chance.. is this from when you were playing with that AI voice thingy? That you give it your voice samples and it learns it?

CK DeP

I'm Really enjoying all of these archived song demos!!! I could definitely see this song in a crime/horror/ spooky / Halloween vibe TV shows, movies or soundtrack. Ooo, are you thinking of ever doing an a Halloween vibe type of music or album?? I know that some music artists make their music in the Halloween theme vibes. I can totally see that happening in this sense for this demo!💕👍👏👻🎃😀 Btws, are you still in Sweden, are you back in L.A?! Honestly loving these archived things! Got anymore Joel?! Lol jk! Love you & everything that you do! Keep it up! Have an amazing weekend Joel!😀👍💕 @Roomie

Dorie

Fun stuff. For some reason I now have an 80s workout montage running through my mind. 😜

Yeah, I’d love to know how big Boel’s song archive is also…I know it’s chock full of freaking bangers, just waiting and wanting to be released and heard!! 😁😁💙💛🙏🏻🙏🏻

Melissa Rogers

Joel, I love the vibe of this song!! The way you tuned your vocals reminds me of 🎶”Worth It”🎶!! Tysm for sharing your musical gems with us…I’m totally here for: them, your fun content, and especially you!! This new project sounds like you’re having a blast creating it!! I’m really getting excited to see what you’ve been working so hard on!! But only when you’re ready…please don’t put any needless pressure on yourself to hurry and finish!! Take your time and post it when you feel it’s perfect!! Have fun with your archive of banger songs, and this new project!! BUT, don’t forget to get some SLEEP, Joel!! I love and very much appreciate you Joel!!

Gayle

Joel, the production, vibe, it's so complex and so ....wish you had given this for the radio shot. You are amazing and this really shows that beyond any doubt. Be the Phoenix, Joel...be the Phoenix. I am a Phoenix.... metaphor and I hope you understand. Tired of past games, tired of fighting what others create that is lies. You are right people are always trying to hide, so be the Phoenix. Be you, who is more than what you think/thought.....be free. Love you 😘😘❤️❤️

Melissa Rogers
>>112905631

Absolutely!! Just like his older music videos…the ones he unlisted, and someone has put up on (at least) 2 other channels. Videos Joel feels are cringe, but when I watch them, I’m in awe and amazement because his voice is (as always) top notch!! And sad that he’s unlisted them from his channel.

Birdie Cantin

Hey there! If you were to release a song on the radio, what name would you release it under? I thought I heard you singing at the grocery store same voice😁. Also, sorry if this has been asked and answered.

Dannielle O'Neill
>>113074870

Not to speak for him (he can obv 1000% correct me, if he sees fit), but I think we could assume it would be under "Roomie". He's said before (as recently as about "So Selfish") he releases them that way still bc that's how the most ppl know/find him/his music. Multiple names makes it confusing (especially for anyone new finding him).

Lejla Kollár

oh my god, that's so good! listen little cricket, play for us while you're still alive. simply great, the way you sing, no other aspect.

Lejla Kollár

okay listen, i'm totally drunk, but this song is fucking awesome. can you sing it anytime? i think so. what's holding you back? why are you only letting your voice out here? why is a smaller audience good than a bigger one? come on, you're a fucking talented singer, why don't you put it out there? why experiment when you have everything it takes to make it big?
