This episode will really show the average life at sea for a sailing family like us, good sails, bad sails, crappy anchorages with sh**ty pilot boat captains and amazing anchorages with views and snorkelling to die for! Come and join us as we continue to explore the beautiful Spanish coast, working our way towards the Balearics and solve a few problems and breakages on the way.

Enjoyed the real life story of an sailing family. Everyone knows everyday is not a perfect day in paradise. Doesn't slow me down a bit about wanting do some sailing myself sooner than later.

Just wanted to let you & Chris know that his drone camera work has really improved over a short period of time. Your time swimming bare & free as a family last spring & summer in the beautiful waters has got to have been the best. Really enjoy following your life on Pickle. One day I hope to have a similar experience.

Thank you, its tricky getting smooth drone footage, but we are getting better! hopefully we'll keep improving and learning new tricks 😉 It really is the best life, not for everyone, but definitely for us!

Yes, we enjoyed the "sailing" trip to St Maarten, didn't get to do much sailing because of problems you already know about yourself, weather, family health issues (Simon's Dad is unwell in England & had to leave during my stay) & mechanical issues on other boats of friends. Simon & Kim have issued another invite as soon as our schedules permits, to find better weather. Loved hanging out with their many friends in the sailing community though and may be able to join them for a sail & other like minded activities as well. Merry Christmas to your crew & family!

Oh that’s a shame! I do hope everything works out for them and you get another chance to go somewhere sailing with them in the future! That is a very good example of boat life, it is always unpredictable! I’m glad you got to hang out and have fun with lots of boaties though! I bet that was lots of fun! Merry Christmas Angus hope you have a good one 👍
