This one goes out to those who doubt themselves, the ones who sometimes feel too overwhelmed with the world, and the ones who truly need to hear something positive. I know we are often bombarded by bad news and negativity, what we can't do, what we can't be. What isn't possible. I know firsthand how much that can feel crippling, please please please do not let such voices win. Many times life creates a hard situation, in fact I would even say life is inherently hard, unfair and sometimes horrible. But it isn't a constant. The good news is we're not hopeless. Nobody truly is. No matter where you are in life, please don't give up on you.

I want so much to believe in what you're saying... I was doing voice-over training myself up until 2018, when I was thrown out of two separate classes in quick succession; one of the two instructors e-mailed me to outright tell me that I had no talent. That same morning I had what may have been a heart attack, and by the time I recovered I had lost that initiative. There are so many other things I've had to let go of due to hardship or disability, and I want to be better and more stable than that

I was similarly told at one point I was pretty bad at voice acting. Though I suppose they praised my range but said my acting wasn’t believable. Trust me if I can do it you can too with enough practice and real emotion c:

Thank you 🥹 I still practice frequently by reading aloud, which I've done for years to help remember texts; and I sometimes make recordings of stories for friends
