Now you know why we said dp is goated. Dp is one of the best series ever along with xy, horizons and sun and moon.

cbloom

Dino Thunder coming later today and more ROOKIE on Sunday

Dawn is the best female companion in the anime imo. I didn’t grow up with misty but I am pretty sure I would not have liked her more than Dawn. Diamond and Pearl really was peak pokemon anime before XY came out!

Ashhab Imran

If I’m being honest, most of the Misty love is OG status and nostalgia. I’m not blinded by nostalgia and because I don’t care she’s an OG, I enjoy most of the female characters after her way more

The Gold Circles are Emblems from the Battle Frontier its a season you'll see but basically they are trainers that rival the Elite 4 with their strength and almost all of their members use Legendary Pokemon on their teams! They are extremely powerful trainers that many powerful trainers struggle to even defeat 1 of them so Reggie having 6 of the 7 Emblems is very impressive.

Said Kouiri

I know it had been a bit but just a reminder Paul’s electabuzz evolved at the end of the last arc in the tag battle, and he showed off his weavile when Cynthia waxed him lol

Erlu

fun fact: The music that was played in the scene in 12:00 is the second Japanese ending. its an ending talking about Mewoth past and his feelings on his life. If you pay attention, you'll notice that almost everytime Meowth has a scene focus on him, or when he look at the full moon - this song's playing.

TNTJ Rock

Is Sun and Moon coming soon again?

Fernstoick

He is planning to pick it up next month which by that time he hopes to be far with dp, ultra legends he is waiting until he watches more Pokémon.

StarGuide

Diamond and Pearl is absolutely the best series yeah. XY and SM may have better animation. But story and character writing wise, DP definitely takes the crown. Glad you're loving Dawn's character arc as well. She's the most developed companion and it shows. Can't wait for you to see more of her stuff. And of course, the Ash and Paul rivalry is peak. Just one thing I'll say is. I don't know where you're getting your filler list from but I've noticed it has some things wrong. In this one for example, the Tanks for the Memories episode wasn't filler. Not only is it where it shows the start of the cracks in Dawn's psyche, but also develops Brock and his breeder goal more and Happiny learns a new move. I'd recommend using this list from now one so that you don't miss anything else important. https://www.animefillerlist.com/shows/pokemon

Fernstoick

Bloom doesn't care about whole eps only to show new moves and this filler list you send I have checked before and it's weird. One example is it doesn't show eps with the right order and one another is some eps are missing from this list.

StarGuide

It's important for both Dawn and Brock's characters as well as I mentioned. But no this filler list is completely accurate and in the right order, so don't know what you're talking about there. I've watched every episode and the only ones that are missing are the recap episodes.

StarGuide

And whatever filler list he's using this isn't even the first time that important episodes have been skipped, so I'd prefer it if he didn't miss others. Especially seeing as he really enjoys the character work here. But I'm not going to argue with you. It's whatever he decides, but I thought he should at least be aware that he's missing out on some other poignant moments of human and Pokemon character development.

Fernstoick

I hear you and I understand your opinion. Here's mine opinion, what you say about dawn happened only the first min and only two more mins in the middle of the ep. I don't think bloom needs to watch a entire episode if that isn't the main context and he didn't miss it since dawn reveals that lack of confidence in order to help the gym leader which there it actually plays a part. And for brock I wouldn't call it development just because he helps a trainer to be more friendly with her Pokémon, we already know how great breeder he is so it's not something new for us.

Fernstoick

Let me tell you some examples about the problems of your list. 1) This list says that the crystal onix is filler, how it's filler since trance reveals his second Pokémon. 2) snow way out is showed in the list more late than it's supposed to be. 3) It says that the lana ep of sm ep 5 is cannon but the kiawe one is filler, how it's filler when we learn about his z ring and his grandpa, which also bloom watched the kiawe ep because he liked it and skipped the lana ep because he didn't like it.

Fernstoick

I have 2 more examples which I can't tell now because those eps will be probably be shown in the next uploads.

Rishdog

DP is that series man. No other pokemon season beats it story-wise.

cbloom

Oh I just got done with the next 6 episodes just now and believe me I highly doubt any other series can surpass this OVERALL 😅Diamond and Pearl is actually god tier when it comes to pokemon

cbloom

Preciate you 🫠yk my mind be taking a minute to jumpstart lmao

cbloom

Don’t have a problem with Misty but she doesn’t have nothing on Dawn😅

Ashhab Imran

2:32:40 These are all the gym badges from the past series up until this point. For the gold circles at the left, those are from the season "Battle Frontier", the last season of Advanced and the season that came right before Diamond and Pearl
