The writers 100% knew what they were doing with the shot that you had for this uploads thumbnail... I'm pretty sure the fandom went nuts over this episode, and there is a particular moment in season 5 where they do some... suggestive things which you'll see in season 5 ... But we'll get around to that when that happens lmao. Also during their first PROPER kiss, you'll notice their individual themes unite to the music in the background, a cool detail I didn't realize till recently. Hiccups theme (the part from Test Drive) and Astrid's theme (Romantic Flight) combine in the background as they kiss in the sunset. Attention to detail is incredible. Most shows won't even both doing things like this. Here's the video link for anyone interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATCR6nsaCCA

I wasn't invested in rtte during the airing of it at the time, but Audrie said everyone lost their minds everywhere; on forums, on fandom pages, hell even on Dreamworks Facebook page and website, it was the picture of them 2 kissing in that final scene EVERYWHERE. They used it everywhere because they knew everyone and their mothers would hear about it. They marketed the hell out of that scene and it worked really well for them.

You mean the scene in season 5 that added more fuel to a theory about how they act in the second movie

Well there is a certain off-screen moment during "Dawn of Destruction" that very heavily implies some suggestive things occurred during that short time skip during that episode. I was watching an Audrie Greywind vid and she brought it this point up and I thought to myself "How the fuck did I miss that" and "She has a very strong argument". Now that she placed all the facts in front of me in plain sight I can't see it any other way.

YESSSS I’m so fucking excited didn’t get to finish these episodes only now realizing that you are in fact on the blindsided episode. As soon as I saw 4-11 I remembered! I’m so fucking excited. This is literally my favorite episode. HICASTRID IS SO CUTEEEE!
