Update - Week 40 (Patreon)

Frankreich! Ich freue mich schon riesig drauf! :3

Soooo, I’m finally getting around to giving you an update! 😄 Last week was absolutely packed – I barely had a quiet moment. I really hope I can slow down a bit in France and that it’ll actually feel like a little vacation 😌
Luckily, the week started off with amazing weather, and to match that, I got tons of beautiful photos from Ingo to review. Also, a few shooting outfits for the upcoming trip arrived just in time – including the transparent coat, the skirt, the socks, the boots, and the shoes.
I also finally got around to setting up more of my kitchen – I got my appliances connected and the countertops installed – and it’s really starting to come together. On Saturday, I went to Düsseldorf and found this adorable little mouse at Rossmann (didn’t take it home though 🐭). It was also my first time trying Uhrguisch (super tasty!), then I went to the nail studio, and in the evening we had a long, cozy game night with friends – kind of a quiet housewarming party.
On Sunday, I went to the gym in the morning (snapped a photo of the church tower on the way ⛪) and to the cinema in the evening. The film was “Kein Land für Niemand – The Isolation of an Immigration Country”, a visually striking yet disturbing documentary about the situation in the Mediterranean, in Germany, and at the external borders of Europe. It also examined how our language around refugees has evolved, how the debate has become increasingly politicized and media-driven, and where we might be heading. I can truly recommend this documentary from the heart 💓
And what’s next? France! I’m so excited already! :3
