So anstrengend Shootingreisen auch sind, und so sehr ich sie auch weiterhin nicht noch einmal machen möchte (zumindest nicht mit mehreren Leuten), so sehr liebe ich diese Bilder. Kevin und ich sind an dem Tag spontan ins Auto gehüpft und haben Madeira erkundet – so richtig überzeugt waren wir von den meisten Spots nicht. Außer von diesem hier. Mitten an der Straße, leichter Nebel, eine imposante Steilwand aus lehmiger Erde und Wurzeln. Das Posing war super schwierig, weil ich immer wieder weggerutscht bin und ein paar Mal auf die Straße gestolpert bin (und es auch nicht gerade angenehm warm war). Für diese Bilder hat es sich gelohnt.

As exhausting as shooting trips are, and as much as I still don’t want to do them again (at least not with several people), I love these images so much. That day, Kevin and I spontaneously jumped into the car and explored Madeira – and honestly, we weren’t really convinced by most of the spots. Except for this one. Right by the road, light fog, an impressive steep wall of clay-like earth and roots. Posing was extremely difficult because I kept slipping and stumbled onto the road a few times (and it wasn’t exactly pleasantly warm either). But for these images, it was worth it.
