Last week had the best possible start: a Monday off! And on top of that, with beautiful weather 🥰 Of course, that had to be celebrated with a café visit, including a chai latte, banana bread and some really good cake. And the best part: the nice weather lasted much longer than expected, which felt so good.

Friday was all about packing for Berlin. I headed out in the afternoon and the train ride was surprisingly smooth. Honestly, I kind of wish I could spend more time sitting in a train compartment like that for a few hours. I got so much done, things I usually tend to procrastinate on. Simply because there are fewer distractions and I don’t feel like I’m missing out on something “out there”. Among other things, I finally (FINALLY) started going through the photos from Spain. I didn’t get super far, but a start is a start and wow, we really took some amazing pictures 🥰

I was picked up at Berlin Central Station by @jeanjaques_photo, who I got to stay with for the first part of my Berlin trip. Spoiler: I felt comfortable with him instantly! On Saturday, after our first shoot, we went to Aportstudio, had tacos together and in the evening we went to a really fantastic poetry slam, followed by burgers afterwards.

On Sunday, it was time for shoot number two with @oliveraukschun_. We had rented an apartment for the shoot that looked amazing in the photos, but unfortunately not in real life 😆 I’m still surprised I didn’t get herpes from it 🙈 After about 20 minutes of slightly horrified staring, we pulled ourselves together and still managed to create something really cool! The only truly great things about the location: two incredibly cute cats and a bedroom with some real patina. After that, I treated myself to Köttbullar, visited an art market including churros and picked up a little something for myself 🥰
