Hellooooo everyone! I’m thrilled to share another exciting update with you all—Changed3D v4.2.6 Beta build 2!

I know what you might be thinking: “Wait, what happened to Beta 1?” Well, I did complete Beta 1, but I held off on posting it here because I wanted to polish a few more things first. Those fixes and improvements are now ready, and they’re all packed into this shiny new build!

Here’s what’s new in v4.2.6 Beta 2:

New Enemies: Introducing the final enemies for The Vents—the ambushing Male Snow Leopard, the mesmerizing Hypnocats, and the laughing trickster, Stiger!

Enemy Transfurs: This update completes the set with Female/Male Snow Leopard TF, Hypnocat TF, Nightling TF, Snake TF and Stiger TF. All the remaining transfurs are now in place!

New Mechanic: For The Maze, I’ve added a Light Switch feature. Flip it on to temporarily boost the light intensity, scaring off those pesky Nightlings and giving you a breather as they scatter.

Maze rebalance: tweaked enemies' LoS and Hearing Ranges, added Light Switches (as mentioned above), and some other minor tweaks that I might have forgotten to note!

Ray Tracing Fix: I finally tracked down and fixed an issue where Ray Tracing wasn’t activating properly. It’s now working as intended!

Ultra Quality Preset: I’ve added a new “Ultra” quality option (known as “Cinematic” in Unreal Engine). I'm baffled why more UE games don’t offer this—it’s the ultimate choice for maximum visual fidelity! Personally, I’m a little obsessed with how pretty the Post-Processing looks on Ultra, and I think you might love it too ;)

BUG FIXES! Many bug fixes: solving a nasty blocker that occurred in The Office; incorrect music playing in some levels, and more!

AI Hear Noise "error rate": a little something that popped up during development, as brought by one of our team members, was that the enemies' AI tracked noise locations too precisely, and that wasn't realistic, so I've added an "error rate" to monsters' AI hearing! The further you are, the worse the monster's hearing and the LoS to the noise, the more improbable the monster will go to the exact location you made the noise in! Though don't get cocky, Stiger knows all too well where you are..

And more! (That I obviously must have forgotten; gosh, I need a more efficient change-log-saving methodology; I promise I will overhaul my method!)

If the build is not working for you, and it crashes while launching the game, please delete everything minus the 'SaveGames' folder in the location:

c:\Users\YourUserHere\AppData\Local\Changed3D\Saved\

This build feels like a big step forward, and I can’t wait for you to dive in and explore it. As always, your support means the world to me, and I’m so excited to hear what you think! Enjoy!
