Hi everyone. With Halloween just around the corner I thought it would be appropriate to tackle another Cramps classic. The complete track is tabbed out below. And there are a couple of different versions of the backing track - one is just drums, the other includes the fuzz guitar part. (There's a 5 click count-in, then you play the opening riff.) Hope you enjoy it!

Speak next week,

Adrian

Yay! Great start to the weekend. Thanks

Fabio Punk

GREAT! I am big fan of the Cramps, I was waiting for this! thanks Adrian!

Peter Healy

I second all of the above (or is that below?) comments.

Michael Carr

Not Luxury Not Deluxe; LUXE!

Kyle Hull

What a treat. Thank you! And it reminds me: Adrian, have you checked out Girl Trouble (Tacoma, Washington)? Big time Cramps vibe. There is not a lot of info out there on them, but they are fantastic and would love a lesson on them one day. "Cold Shoulder" would be a good one, but there are many. Video fun fact: Neko Case is a big fan and makes an appearance in the wonderfully kitschy video for that song.

John Kowall

Great song especially for the season 💀

Dustin Richards

Love this song. Great pick Adrain. I was wondering if you have listened to “strolling after dark” by the shades? It’s the same format, I’m just having trouble with one of the changes. Anyway, love your lesson man.

NB

Thanks Adrian - great song and equally good lesson and explanation as usual!

anyonecanplayguitar

Thanks Dustin. Yes, that track is obviously very similar. Was it the original inspiration for the Cramps song? I'm guessing so.

anyonecanplayguitar

Thanks Kyle. Not familiar with Girl Trouble, but I will check them out!

Carl

Sweet! I love a bit of The Cramps..this also is making me reach for my 'Blues you Can Use' book to get back into. Thanks Adrian :)

Mark Reid

the Cramps are one of my favorite bands, great choice!

Allan Pilgrim

Is it just me but to me it seems very Link Wrayish?????

Allan Pilgrim

Great Adrian...is it just me but it sounds very Link Wrayishhhh to me ??

I think there is a problem with this backing track. The lead guitar starts out silent, but then comes in around the 1:00 mark.

anyonecanplayguitar

Yes, that's weird - I must have forgotten to mute the lead part when I created the backing. Will get that fixed!

jb

The fie "Teenage-Werewolf-Backing-Drums-Only.mp3" has the same issue.

jb

Thanks so much for fixing these. I'm a big Cramps fan and these backing tracks are why I started backing you,
