Hi all!

I have another instalment of my Mindful Noodling series for you. This one has a bluesy theme, and I'm playing over an 8 bar blues, a bit like the tune Key to the Highway. It's quite a long video and I get into a lot of my favourite blues rhythm and lead approaches. I've tried to include something for players of every level, so we start some quite basic rhythm guitar parts, and then we begin to expand our options with more complex parts, fills and lead ideas.

I've put together a detailed tab which contains my introductory piece as well as a lot of the other concepts I discuss. Hope you enjoy it.

I shall see you next week when I hope to be doing some kind of Xmas themed video. I thought I might also do a little end of year Patreon Q&A. So if you have any burning guitar-related questions, then fire away and I'll do my best to answer them next week.

Speak soon,

Adrian

The mindful noodles are some of my favorite lessons. So helpful in reminding me to play thoughtfully. A great framework for us beginners!

Hi Adrian, really enjoyed this lesson. Can you do a similar lesson on Jazz improvisation please and I love your version of Whitcha Linesman, any chance of doing something along similar lines of another classic song in the new year please? Many thanks, you are an inspiration.

Great stuff as always, Adrian. Along with the surf classics and the theory ones, the 'mindful noodling' vids are my favourites!
