Morning all, and a special welcome to those of you who are new here. Today I have one more Charlie Christian video for you. After taking a more general look at his style a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to make a video on one of his classic solos in its entirety: Rose Room as played by the Benny Goodman Orchestra. It's quite tough solo, so I suggest taking it slowly phrase by phrase to start with. Have fun with it. I'll get the tabs up here later. Oh, here's the link -

Hello all. Hope you enjoyed yesterday's Rose Room video. Here are the PDFs and Guitar Pro files of the tabs. I'm also including the rhythm part which isn't on my site. And a basic backing track you can solo along to.

Hope this is all working properly. Any problems with the downloads, let me know.

Have a great rest of your weekend!

I'm afraid to look! :) Just wanted to take a sec and thank you again for all your hard, well thought out work. You are really good at slipping a brilliant lesson on theory into what initially seems like just a really cool lick or solo. Just since finding your site a couple of months ago I feel like I have both improved my method and knowledge of the fingerboard, thanks again Adrian!

That's good to hear Brian. For me the music comes first, then a bit of painless theory is a bonus and can really help with the understanding. Hope you continue to enjoy the lessons!
