Hi everyone,

It's Christmas Special time! This is my take on Booker T and the MGs version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town. This one's packed full of nice soul licks and ideas. Hope you have fun with it. Tab can be found below. The backing track is coming up in the next post.

This is my last official video of the year, but I am planning on doing an extra little video here on Patreon next week.

See you then,

Adrian

Love the soul/R&B lessons and always look forward to your Christmas song pick, so this year was especially delightful. Awesome lesson and a great arrangement. Well done!!

With your arrangements my first impression is that because they sound so good they must be uber difficult and then I am surprised to discover that they are much more manageable than I first assumed - because you teach them so well. Thank you very much for the effort you put into your lessons.

Hi Adrian can't believe it's here already. Great choice for 2023. I usually play Death Cab for Cutie's version of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" around this time. Hope you and your Family have a brilliant Festive Season.

Merry Christmas Adrian-every Friday is a mini holiday waiting for your lesson of the week! Thanks for all the great work you do. Here's a Santa request for 2024 you can feel free to ignore: a lesson on palm wine guitar eg this song-incredibly melodic happy music... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjwqceeVxrI Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season, see you next year.

I can just imagine Aretha singing over this.
