Looney

Heck yeah. Spider Man 2 is here! 😁

Stefan Williams

Spiderman 2 is 'early prototype marvel movies' magnum opus. Blade is second.

Wxyz@73

Great reaction! I enjoy the chemistry of the both of you. Agreed! It was kind of cheesy in certain areas. But the train fight scene is considered one of the best in Marvel fight scenes, even today. Speaking of great action scenes. Your channel should watch TRUE LIES with Arnold Schwarzenegger. If you haven't already. Stay the course and it will pay off in the end with the Spidey movies.

Manospondylus

The best Spider-Man ever made. Besides of course maybe Japanese Spider-Man but hey you give me Spider-Man with a submachine gun and I'm sold. Lmao

Rob M

Tien you've got a great eye! A lot of people in the theater focused on Harry's subtle smirk and missed the color of his bow tie. Yeah, the whole Peter & MJ dynamic in these movies is triggering. You could see Lan steaming like a tea kettle every time Peter and MJ started their nonsense. Will Peter grow a pair and stop simping over MJ? Will Harry turn against Peter? Will MJ save up enough money to finally buy a bra? Stay-tuned for the exciting conclusion you two!

Manospondylus

Oh yeah. Forget Mary Jane I'd be after the landlords daughter. 😎

Please react to the Evil dead (1981) and Evil Dead 2 (1987)

lol I don’t understand why people hâte MJ I mean it’s not her fault. She loves Peter. It is Parker’s fault because he strugle dealing with is « Spiderman curse »

Gaëtarrow

Well yes! but if we takde everything she do right, there's not that much. in the one, she practicly cheat on Harry with spiderman (with the kiss) and she seem to try them all. in this one, idem, she's engaged and she wantto go with peter and kiss him (still being engaged). Irl everybody will leave her, we can't really trust her at all. Now, Yes, Peter and his curse is a huge problem. but she doesn't seem to want to do something to make it easier by going with almost every man who came by. And leaving the guy at the autel !!! In the third, she has excuse for it. but not in the 2 first. at least that's my thought about it.

Finn Aries

All my homies hate MJ lol

I'm speechless. Amazing reaction and discussion!🙂❤️👍

Still amazes me that it's the first time you girls have watched all of these movies (and I mean all the movies, not just marvel!)

Rob M

The movies did low-key explain why MJ is the way she is because of the way her father treated her. It isn't directly MJ's fault the way she behaves. The movie just didn't want to delve too deep into MJ's issues because it would have been a huge distraction from Peter's story and kind of a buzz kill for the movies. Sure, MJ would be a red flag in the real world, but we can't hate on her too much because of the way her father treated her. Peter and MJ were barely in their 20's in Spiderman 2. Most people at that age are still trying to get a grip on who they are as people, so the emotional struggles between MJ (with dad issues) and Peter (with insecurity and epic responsibility issues) is believable.

Digitalversager

In my opinion, this is the best Spider-Man movie. Okay, they overdid it a bit at the beginning with Peter's run of bad luck.😅 Tien is right, Dr. Octavius is a great villain. The tragedy of his story makes him such a good Charakter. When you see him at the beginning, so positive, so sympathetic, in love with the love of his life, that makes his downfall even more impactful. I'll say it like it is, but Peters landlord's daughter would be the best match for him. At least she only loves Peter, unlike MJ, who certainly likes Peter but Spider-Man is the main attraction. You can see that in the kiss she has with her fiancé as a test; that's her kiss with Spider-Man. But enough about MJ, let's quickly sing a toast to the best lady in town, Aunt May. Everyone should have an aunt like her in the family. The best character in the movie, and she's so brilliantly played by Rosemary Harris. Next week will be fun. Spider-Man 3 may be the weakest installment of the trilogy, but it has some hilarious scenes. I can't wait until you meet Bully Maguire. You ladies will have a hard time not falling off the sofa laughing 😅. That was a great reaction, as always, Angels.💜

ThatDamnSnake

In the comics, the boyfriend turns into a werewolf. MJ made the better choice.

Gaëtarrow

Hello Angels!! Let(s for the most loved one of the trilogy (I prefer the first personnaly and I have a little thing for the 3, but this one is so good either way!) Well, Tiên and Lan might be the only girls in the world who , seeing the woman doctor scratching the floor with her nails, was not freak out and their first concern being "where do you do your nails?" 🤣🤣🤣 (Btw, Sam Raimi, the director, made a lot of horors movie. I think we can clearly see that in that scene !!!) Well, Angels, This IS the pinnacle of Spider-man !! we have all the ingredient : -Spiderman being a scientific nerd: Check -Spider-man's humour (in the banks) and his "spidey" nickname: check - Peter Struggling to just have a good living with his job : Check -His love-life being a complete mess (and the girlfriend always in danger. at 1 or 2 exception because they're also superhero ): Check -Best friend who hate Spider-man without knowing he's spider-man: Check -Jameson who bully him with his journal: Check -Peter being a hero even without his suit: Check -wanting to give up (and even give-up a little sometime) because he's having enough: Check -Uncle ben's life lesson ("With a great power, come great responsability") making him keep going ,with Aunt May being his moral support and compass (even though she doesn't know): Check. - trying to get his life back on trail and a super-vilain is spoiling it: Check -one of the best and most famous spider-man's ennemy:Check -Showing how strong he actually is (by stopping the train): DAMN YEAH CHECK !!!!! The only thing we missed is how young he is suposed to be .between 18-24 years old in most adaptation. yes, they're supposed to be 20's, but they don't look like it at all.... Tom Holland might be the youngest spider-man I saw with the "spectacular spider-man"' cartoon. althoug we also have more mature version of him. This is exactly what Stan Lee wanted to create: A superhero we can rely on (especialy teenagers), because his life is a miserable as anyone could be. everyone has money problem, love problem, must balance work, personnal and studying. You just had to add a little of super-power to make things even more complicated !! The golden rule of Spider-man: Spider-man can NEVER NEVER NEVER be happy !! if something is going fine, it will not last or something else will go wrong !! ( better not to talk about how many people he know died....) from Stan Lee himself in Interview: "What I like about the costume is that anybody reading Spider-Man in any part of the world can imagine that they themselves are under the costume" "I like Spider-Man because he's become the most famous. He's the one who's most like me — nothing ever turns out 100 percent OK; he's got a lot of problems, and he does things wrong, and I can relate to that". What's even more impressive is that, the editor didn't want it. They saw the story and they bassicly said "nobody want to see a super-hero that miserable". Stan Lee managed to publish it by using the last numero of a dying magazine (because "when it's the last print, nobody care what you are putting in it"). well... the magazine was saved and spider-man became the biggest success of marvel (and still is!) This movie really understand what Spider-man is in his essence. Comics fact: -Dr Otto Octavius (aka Doc Octopus or Doc ock). He's clearly in the top 3 for the most famous spider-man's ennemy. (he's clearly the one with the most adaptation both in movie, cartonn and video game with the green goblin and Venom. and maybe the Lizard.) In comics, just a scientist who created his arm to help him manipulate dangerous product and got permanently attached to them by accident. But why he became criminal... I'll be honest, I don't know. he got so many adaptation, I have no idea of what was his first motive.... All I know is that he respect Spider-man. Once, to avoid death, He managed to transfer his mind into peter's and became himself spider-man for a while and fully undertstand what being Spider-man is and he get a full repect for him. In normal time, He seem more interrested into testing Spider-man capabilities with a scientific's curiosity than anything. But hard to explain this character, too many different adaptatation. Fun fact: When Peter is leaving his suit in the trash (at 1.05 where he leave the suit halfway in it), This SHOT of the suit hanging to the trash is an exact reproduction of the 1967's comcis book "spider-man no more" !!!! We have peter who said the lines "i'm Spider-man no more" and you took the cover of this comics and the scene, this is stunning how the 2 of them are similar. this is a huge reference to the original comics book. For the outro: well, Lan is done for good with M.J. !! 😅 Ok, there's something "romantic" about the wedding dress and all of that (at least, in the imagery) , but I agree with Lan, poor the guy ! M.J. was often toxic for Peter in a way or another, but hearing you and seeing those movie again as adult... Yeah ! OK, we saw that she had an abusive father in the 1 and Peter and her are still supposed to be in their early 20's (even if the actors don't look that way). so they do teenager's mistake! but this is very complicated. we are happy to see Peter with the love of his life, but how many man did she hurt in the process? and you'll see the next one, it's not going better! Octopus is one of the most used Spider-man ennemy and they did a great job with this one (not a perfect adaptation, but a very interresting and compelling one) . Glad you loved him. About people wanting to do good but ending doing bad, there's this expression " Hell is paved with good intentions". Based on what Tiênsaid : do your thing and let, God, the world and time decide if it was worth it or not. And yes J. J. Jameson (the Journalist) is so fun !! ( in comics, he's way more dangerous) but they made him so fun and endearing! (I was surprised you didn't recognozed his meme when he has his "mean laugh" as Lan said). I had a wonderfull time ! Thanks Angels. My apologies if the comment is way too long! I got carried away a "little"... but I had a lot to share on this one. I hope I didn't bothered you. I'm eager to see the next one with you !! Have a good day Angels !

Gaëtarrow

for the few comics, I have of spider-man, well let's ay that his bad luck is not that overwelming. but when things go bad.... they go bad hard!! never expect him to say good-bye to you if you take the plane, you know he will never be here on time !! 😅

Looney

Great reaction ladies. Mary Jane should have stayed with Harry. They both have all kinds of issues. Peter should have went with the landlord's daughter. She was great. And saw Peter for Peter and not because of Spider Man. Doc Ock was a great villian. He's a well known villian of Spider Man in the cartoons and comics and I thought he was done really well in this movie. Can't wait for more Spider Man reactions. Cheers 😃

Wxyz@73

My bad! 😎 I follow this channel and Movie Munchies. 😂 good they watched it.

Joe Stüll

You two are so funny. I’m sure you’ll be happy when you find out MJ isn’t in The Amazing Spider-Man movies.

Gaëtarrow

Not sure they'll be happy all the time! 😅

Jef Etters

You were wondering how to pronounce Toby’s last name. It’s like “muh,” like mud. Then “gwire” like wire with a g in front of it. MuhGWIRE. Like “mudWIRE.” In the comics Spider-Man was the first ever popular hero to deal with everyday problems like bills, school and jobs. And he was a nerd. Before the 1960’s most DC heroes like Superman were treated like gods, but Marvel heroes were like normal people with problems. That’s one of the reasons this movie was so good when it came out, it was basically the first time we see a hero struggling and it’s one of the key elements missing from Tom Holland’s character, especially since his suits are basically Iron Man suits.

TheEnd187

The best part of this reaction is your reactions to all the Mary Jane drama🤣

Alias Internal

i agree, its the best Spiderman movie of all franchises. this movie has superb shots unlike any other. And damn, Octavius is so good.

Nhia Vang

Is like korean drama with spider man and mj.

Nhia Vang

Tien is not that complicated between MJ and Peter. Like MJ said she still have something for Peter at the end of the first film. She is already in love with Peter is just that she need Peter permission. "Love should never be a secret." -Dr. Octavius ❤️

N2Joker

I'm so happy you guys are watching the Spiderman movies. Their my favourite, second only to F.r.i.e.n.d.s.
