Great movie, though perhaps a bit long and occasionally over-stylized. I mean, come on: if you just cut out the sometimes excessively long slow-motion sequences, you’d probably save an hour of runtime without losing any of the story. But what can you do? That’s Zack Snyder’s trademark. Yes, the story is confusing at times despite the film's length; Zack Snyder packed too much into it. I think it would have been better to release solo movies for Aquaman, Flash, and Batman before Justice League. That way, we could have really gotten to know the heroes and expanded the world further. It would have given Superman’s death a bit more weight, too, allowing Justice League to focus on Cyborg, Superman’s return, and the whole Mother Box storyline. The dream sequence offers another glimpse into the future. But I’m afraid I have to disappoint you: we’ll never see how that future comes about or what happens next, since this version of the DCU has unfortunately been scrapped. Those brief sequences are all we have. I’m always a bit torn on this. On one hand, I like the sequences; I feel like Snyder included them to drum up fan support in the hope that he might still be able to complete the "Snyderverse." But on the other hand, I think it might have been better if he’d edited this version to serve as a definitive conclusion for this iteration of the DCU. If you ever want to see an example of a shorter version of Justice League, say, when you’re bored, check out the theatrical cut by Joss Whedon. The "Whedon Cut" is a real Frankenstein’s monster of a movie.😅 A quick fun fact about Aquaman: since you mentioned you couldn't imagine anyone other than Jason Momoa in the role, I have to let you know that the original Aquaman looks nothing like the movie version. Google it and you'll see that Jason Momoa is a 100% upgrade.😅 That was a great reaction, as always Angels.💜

I don't want to bum you out, but there is no movie that follows that explains what happened with Lois' death and Superman going bad. It sucks because this version of the Justice League movie had set up so many avenues for future movies. Yes, there are more movies with characters we saw from this movie, but those movies are more like loose ends and never tied everything together with this movie and Bruce's "dream" about the future. Hollywood doesn't make the wisest choices. It's not a spoiler, so I'll at least try to explain some of what Joker talked about at the end. When Joker talked about sending a "Boy Wonder" to do a man's job, Joker was talking about Robin (real name Jason Todd, came after Dick Grayson). Remember in the Batman vs. Superman movie that Bruce had that costume that said "Joke's on you, Batman!"? That was Robin's costume that Robin died in after Joker killed Robin. "Boy Wonder" was one of the nicknames Robin had in the comics. I've mentioned it before, but there is an HBO series called "Titans" that is based on Teen Titans. It is worth a watch even if you don't react to it. "Titans" is a much more adult version of Teen Titans, which is why it was on HBO.

Such a shame they didn't get to continue this trilogy- But it's great you guys saw the Zach Snyder version- cuz the one in theaters was half the run time- had no darkside, no cyborg backstory, no martian manhunter, no black suit superman, and ALOT of reduced scenes between the actors. Snyder was supposed to direct at first- but tragically his daughter passed away (that's why you see "for autumn" written at the end as the name of his kid). So the studio took it over, different director, and rushed production. Four years after it came out fans protested ALL over social media "RELEASE THE SNYDER CUT". And eventually they did and it was SO worth it.

Also: The Batman dream scene at the end is confusing: but basically Bruce gets a glimpse of what the world is like if Darkside won. If Darkside masters the Anti-Life Equation he can influence anything or anyone: and after Lois supposedly dies: Darkside gets control of Superman using the Anti Life Equation. But unfortunately there's no sequel to this.

Part 2 of comment Reaction to you. Dam I love this rock music when they gather and equid themselves!!! You heard that you're ready to go and fight !! A scene I'm happy they change between the theatritical release and this one (I saw it on IG) is a scene when they fight the parademon on the island to save cyborg's father. For short, Flash run , miss his step, bump into Wonder woman knocking her off and they end on the ground with Flash's head..... in her breast. And apparently, Even Gal Gadot wasn't good with that scene. So, happy they removed it! "It's like they made every single bad guys into one" that's Darkseid for you !! That moment when flash run and superman can follow him... and everyone is like "OH SHIT !!!!!!" but Yes superman can be that fast. in fact, Officially By DC, Superman is the 3rd fatest guys in the universe. the 2 second one is Barry. the first one is Wally West (flash nephew who get the same power!!). Now, why superman isn't always fighting in high speed ? Good question!!! If you have the answer tell us Not superman's ship. batman's plane that he didn't managed to fix. 🤣🤣Didn't expect Tiên using the meme of norman Osborn ! Yes, Flash have his movie... But it was commonly saw as bad! (and you need to see some older batman first, btw...). but it's your call, I'm fine with it. "I love his sense of humour" (aquaman's) good things you like him that way. he's not like that in comics. He act way more like a proud king always serious. When you see how strong they made superman against Steppenwolf, it's good thing superman was dead and they needed to resurect him. either way, it would have been too easy. Just for that, OK superman's death was justified. In a way.... still cheesy but it work. Other comics intell The anti-life equation To be honest, I never found a real explanation about what it is. the only thing everyone know in DC, If Darkseid has the equation, all life is doom and will serve him. Now, it's the first time I saw it on earth. Darkseid...( yeah, I agree the name sound a lot like star wars...) If thanos in marvels is the biggest threat. in DC, darkseid is making Thanos look a petty warlord not even worth to be bother with where Darkseid is an almoghty emperor!!! don't think the paradeamons are just aliens... they are aliens beaten by Darkseid's army and tortured and twisted to become his new soldiers. (yes, he is that cruel). I mean his world/Capital is called "Apokolips" !! (when the name is a reference to the apocalypse, you know the guy is dangerous) . In comics, he's dangerous enough for the enitre green lantern corps (so bassicaly the jedis knight of DC) to not fight him directly. but better make a deal, a status quo. "we protect this part of the galay, do what you want with the rest and leave us in peace". Superman can fight him but he always struggle a lot. here it seems easy in the battles. untill you remember they need a whole army of Gods, amazons and Atlanteans whith Magics to manage that!! because when you have a guy that strong physically and with laser eyes that follow you like a missiles and even avoiding obstacles....you have a rought time fighting it !!! In comics.... well, let say you need ALL the BIG GUNS of the league to barely hold him alone !! (and I'm not speaking of his army or plenty of others servant. Desaad and steppenwolf are just 2 of them! he has many children and great warriors as his service). In normal time, when he came to earth, it's just a conquest amongst others. sometimes, he just send his guys and himself doesn't move. unless he need to. he's one of the biggest threat of DC. The story I know the best of him. he captured supergirl, made her his best warrior with mind control. Batman, Superman, Wonder-Woman and Big Barda (darkseid's ex best warrior who betrayed him) go to save her. Darkseid accepted to let supergirl go for only one reasons: Batman activated of is mass destruction bombs (strong enought to destroy the planet) and menaced Darkseid to make it explode. He accepted only because he sensed Batman wasn't bluffing !! he accepted to let her go, but he did come back to kick superman... who survived barely with supergirls help. and yet... they won more by trick then strenght. 2 kryptonian at full power didn't succed to won without cheating against him alone....yeah that much !!! (And yes, it's certainly this story who inspired the plot of superman serving Darkseid in the movie). Martian Man Hunter. Another big name of the JL. As the name suggest, he's a martian. In DC, martians are shapeshifter and have telephatic capabilities (reading minds and speaking into yours. even erase your memory if they really want). I don't know why, but John Jonn'zz is hiding on earth. It depend, but the version I know is he's fleeing a genocide. manhunter is more because he act like a private investigator. other than that, I don't know much. Now I'll be honest, I don't understand what he do here. yes getting Lois to superman...but Was it neccesary it was him ? Deathstoke (aka Slade Wilson. the one with Luthor.) The most badass mercenary of DC Comics ! Some experience to make him stronger and quicker, good with swords and guns! he's a very dangerous and a badass one. and Marvel though: let's give DC the middle finger and turn him into a joke !!! So Slade Wilson becoma Wade wilson...aka ....Deadpool....yes, deadpool is a parody of deathstroke. What I think of the movie well it's good ! a very good adaptation. But AGAIN, too much things in it! The main problem for me: Snyder put way too many things in it! and many not neccesary. (all the scene with "other possible future" mainly). all the epilogue could have been skipped! (or stopped just after Silas's speech). Either way you show martian manhunter or Luthor with deathstroke to prepare the next movie (as a post-credit scene), But Not everything and even less this whole scene coming from another movie with this Injustice/Dark superman! it just bring confusion... Just see yourself in this scene, you were completly lost. And the worst part being, we may certainly never have answer. has this cinematic universe has ended.... because it was stopped and replace it by the new DC Cinematic universe which doesn't seem to work better.... Funny enough, DC is better in Cartoon, TV show and video games, where Marvel is succeeding with movies (well, it depends which one now...). You want very good DC, go for TV Show and video games! and anything animated! and maybe they made last superman's healing a little too much...Just gave him the costume and let's go. no need of the fathers's speech! (for me,the movie was already more than long enough). But again, is it them trying to do like marvel too hard or is it Snyder putting everything he can because it's his own cut and he know it would have no more movie (despite the fan demanding it a lot!) For me that's the main problem. But it's the same problem as BVS. And again, a lot of Fan-service for those who knew. but for others...Ouch...you're lost like you in the end. (not a fan of this Joker to be honest). But if not those scene being too much, well the story is really good. and a good way to adapt it. For the ending. I love that Lan is realting so much to flash. I get her ADHD's reflexion about him. and as much as would like to be either batman or superman (or green arrow, but he's not here...) in the JL... when I think about it, I'll be Flash too... OH NO !!! WHY....😅🤣 I'm happy that Lan Is loving this movie so much. I love this movie, but I prefer BVS personnaly. For money, Did you think Batman was happy with all his money in BVS? Or the Nolan's trilogy ? 🤣 I must disagree with you! money is a mean to have what you need to have happiness, but is not mandatory .😉(for me) Funny things, Aquaman in comics doesnt look like that at all !! he's a blond short hair guy!! 🤣 If you ask me, Momoa's look is better for an aquaman. it's just the character that doesn't work compare to the original. but I'll speak of it more in his movie! Now, as said, you have a lot of theory, but we will never know. for me it was a mix of injustice (where superman turned evil when Loïs die because of the joker), the story I explained to you with Darkseid turning supergirl as his best weapon and some version of the comics where Darkseid defeat the earth... but we will nver truly know. such a good time and so much to speak about....so many reference, theory (that will never have answer sadly) and thing to discuss. I'm not a fan of Aquaman. But I agree, now I can't imagine Aquaman with any other body than momoa's even seeing the video game inhustice, it feel strange seeing him Blond. but Momoa made him feel too ...I don't find the word, but in comics and cartoon, he's a proud king with all the quality we can imagine for that. here and even more in his movie, he feel too vulgar compared to the character, in no time in those movie I'm seeing the king of atlantis. he may have the physic for it, but not the personna. And for the rest, i'm with you....just like in BVS, too much useless scenes !!! what's the point to show us a future like that in such a big scene. Age of ultron did it in a scene who lasted less than 2 min.... why make a full scene that feel coming from another movie? why presenting martian manhunter and deathstroke like that? better put ONE of them in a post credit scene and that's it. And making each one his own movie (maybe with already Batman or Wonder woman intervene in it would have been better) but here whe have 3 completly new important character to present...it can feel heavy. but I think they did it good enough. Now the slowmo , yes it make it long, but most of the time it's well used I things, in action one at least. Just some other scene could have been made shorter without losing much.( like the Icelandic woman singing, the arrow of artemis could have been shorter maybe) but it don't bother much.. In the end, it's a good one!

Jokes on you there is no more after this and that's DC for you girls. Too much politics in this industry that's why nothing will get done. I do like some of the individual movies such as Aquaman and The Flash 2023 was entertaining. I would recommend watching Shazam which is a DC movie that's quite good and the after credit scene will surprise you girls.

OMG i wish this is what i saw in the movie theaters when it was released and watching it again ugh so sad it is not continued ugh hate the new superman well i was never a fan until man of steel but i do love Nathan Fillon as a lantern thats about it lol

You know, he's something of a scientist himself." And the internet cheered at Tien for the use of the meme 👍 I was thrown off at first at the switching of the shirts from Part 1 lol. Great reaction again ladies. Some of it does get a little tiring in this film. The ending should have ended after they killed Steppenwolf. As others have said, there is no more to this story. This is all we got but there are a few more great DC movies left. Batman 1989 and it's sequel Batman Returns (obviously these are from 1989 and 1992 so they're older but great) Shazam 2019 Aquaman 2018

Maybe better to have watched "Suicide Squad" first, before Justice League ... would have given you more context on what happened during the time without Superman for the city, and Joker's love (the ending conversation Joker had with Batman). Again, it's worthy to check out a couple of seasons of "The Flash" TV series, that was a very good show that tells the Flash's biggest challenges (irony) even with the power he has, and he actually has more super powers than you think.
