Also reat react Deer Hunter. It's about America family who joined the Vietnam war and came back different. More of drama movie than a war movie

This is a great movie. I know the movie is based on a true story, but is it really true that the entire time Doss was rescuing soldiers on his own, a whole team was waiting below? Weren't there even two volunteers who could have climbed up and at least helped him lower the wounded? That part of the story always seems a bit unrealistic to me, as if it were just added to make Doss, who is without question a hero, seem even more heroic. I don't know, that's just the question that always goes through my head everytime I watch the Movie. Well, whether it's realistic or not, you're right, the story is very inspiring, and that's a good thing. The battle scenes are absolutely brutal; I'd even go so far as to say that after the storming of Normandy in Saving Private Ryan, the Battle of Hacksaw Ridge is my second favorite battle scene. That was a great reaction, as always, Angels.💜

Hello Angels !! I never saw this movie (not even the munchies or Tiên and lan's yet...). But I know the story !! I saw a youtube video about the real Desmond Doss and how he inspired the movie. saw even If I never saw it, I know it. Now I don't know how much is accurate or not. The only thing I also know about the movie is the french titles: "Tu ne tueras point" ("you Shall not kill" Yes, it's one of the 10 commandement). Let's see it together ! (I made some research on him and tried to remember what I saw before to help you.) For the movie The picture desmond was looking after hurting his brother is Abel and Caïn. the first murder in the bible, a brother jealous of his brother and killed him. No for what I look , I saw nothing about Desmond hurting his brother or seeing his father tryong to kill his mother. But his father did fought in WW1. "there"s no killing in a war. just protecting " I already heard a lot of dumb thing to justify going to war. but this one deserve an oscar! "just 18 years old !!" welcome in the hell of WW1. very young soldiers like that was very common in the french and Belgian army (for lack of manpower and heavy conscription...) Now for the US?... I'm surpirsed. where they volonteer or conscript? it's not like the US was lacking manpower.... Maybe I'm thinkng too much about that. See the man naked "you may like it!" Yuri !! 😅🤣 poor ran! ....later, "his ass is really nice"... never mind ! 🤣 you're too funny! Ok this sergeant is as dumb as he's funnier than the one in "Full Metal Jacket"! 🤣 "the US army doesn't make mistake"....well... I know many event that proove him wrong 😅 When you look at it, Doss was lucky !!(if we don't count the bullying) because most of consentious objector for religious purpuse just ended in prison for all the time they were supposed to serve... ( but they don't enlist in the first place!) So atleast, he manage to do what he wanted without ending in prison for years! Okinawa... One of the most bloodiest battle of the pacific's war. The japanesse fortified the island so much the battle lasted for almost 3 month (april the first- june the 22th). +- 14 000 american death for something between 75 000to 100 000 japaneses (civilian not included.... you can add more than 100 000 people then...) This battle is oftenly use to show how fanatized the imperial japanese population was (lot of kamikaze and civilian killing themselves by collectives suicide to not be captured... even killing children to "safe them"....) Are you OK ? Ran ? I hope you didn't get sick !! (and your heart will survive too!) "We need to nike them!" Hiroshima and Nagasaki's atomic bombing is not before a month or little more... (augustus the 6th). but ship's artillery work too... Only 32 !!!! on 800 !!??!!🤯🤯😰.... my god.... Euh , not sure the japanesse guy he helped was a real things. Neither the last save with the slidding 🤣. (or atleast dragging someone like that, it was before Okinawa !!) but why not... Because he already saved a lot before the battle of okinawa! Why did I heard french . at 1h.53? 🤣🤣 that was surprising! "It's the samouraï way. they kill themselves" well yes and no. it's not at every defeat they do it. only when they don't have anymore solution to avoid dishonors (atleast for real samouraï!) but the WW2 japan push this idea to the extreme. For the conclusion Well, no wonder the movie is so violent... it's from Mel Gibson's again! "He's a hero" yes he is! between 75 men saved on 12 hours of saving on the ridge! The only thing strange for me: you don't want to kill to obey god... But you go to war? I can +- get his point from his explanation, but for me personnally it doesn't make sense. if you don't want to kill, don't go to war. but He deserved respect and praise for the live he saved! it's not because, I don't understand him that he don't deserve it! I don't know how much the movie is accurate (or is inventing things) but ti's a good story. (and for once whith Mel gibsons: it doesn't butcher story much!). I think it might become my favourite of him (outside braveheart). And I knew Andrew Garfield only as Spider-man. now, I like way more as an actor! Thanks for the discovery (i'll clearly go for the munchies's and tiên and lan's when i'll have the time !!) Have a beautifull day, angels!

I saw a youtube video (in french by a guy who made Video about History). And for what I remember, Yes he did it alone! the soldiers being only here to get the wounded at the end. So FOR ONCE, Gibsons didn't invented it. And the movie skipped his exploit before Okinawa!😅

ha thats a boys life growing up. Brother always hurt each other. You should hear the stories of my dad and his brother. My pops made a home made gun and shot his brother with bath salt. lol me And my brother hurt each other but at the end of the day we are always brothers. We Americans don't raise no wimps. We raise boys into men. Great movie reaction ladies and heres the kick, your lucky to see WW3 for it will happen in our lifetime. Those that have their names in the book of life will be taken from this earth because God doesn't want his chosen to witness the end. Look forward to the next upload

One of the most inspiring movie and story of all time. It`s hard to watch but everybody should watch this to make them think about their own life and what they did to help any people around them. Thank you for your reaction.

The men you see with the missing limbs,Arms or Legs would be actual Amputees used for Realism.
