The gun market in Mogadishu is intoxicating and beautiful. I'd love to shop there. 🦅

This movie is fantastic. Even though it's directed by Ridley Scott, I feel like it often gets overlooked. It's one of those rare films that gives us a glimpse into a more modern conflict. Every time I watch Black Hawk Down, I can't help but wonder what happened to Josh Hartnett's Hollywood career. Back in the late 90s and early 2000s, he was a massive rising star, people were even comparing his trajectory to Leonardo DiCaprio's. He may not have stayed at the absolute top, but he's a fantastic actor and I always love seeing him on screen. If you're looking for another great movie tackling conflicts in Africa, definitely check out Blood Diamond (2006) starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Great reaction as always, Wildcats!💜

This will be good Hope you react to Battle Los Angeles (2011)

Especially now when we know that the American military is nothing but a bunch of thugs that are happily murdering little girls in schools and destroying civilian infrastructure .. a fricking war crime Nothing changes as these Vietnamese reactors know all too well

Hella Angels!! Very good outfit indeed! but as this is an "Hawk", you lack feather! 😁 Well, I know the movie only because I saw the trailer when it was about to release and wasn't interrested in it... so it will a first time too! (Yeah, I still not have finished to catch up all that the other angels and munchies did !😅) So let's go !! for the movie "real event"... I verified, YES. it's base on real events, they just mixed some characters and modify some element to make the movie easier to follow (as usuals in those case in "historical" movies). and it's an adaptation of the book wrotte by someone who took all the witnesses he could. What I mostly know of those events: it ended so bad for the US and the UN, They wanted to avoid casualties at all cost the next times they intervened for the UN. So when they had to intervend for the rwandan genoc*de , the UN didn't dare to barely intervene at all to avoid losing their soldiers again! only the most basic (evacuate europeans and protect themselves or the camp they control...So not much). So we can thanks this battle to have indirectly caused more death in the genocide... *extremely sarcastic* Yeah.... For the rest, don't know nothing. Hey !! "Hello there! General Kenobi" 🤣🤣 (ok only Tiên and Lan may get this one...) Didn't know, Ewan Mccregor was on the team ! 😂 (but I only recognize his voice! 😅) But there's really a lot of know face in this one! way more than I though. (never saw eric bana aka Hector from Troy in any other movie until today!) Not lion! Warthog! (not simba, but Pumba 😁) "What's he doing"(the man singing in the tower) he's the "muezzin" making the call to the prayer for the muslims. " Easy to buy weapon in the market. like fish" When your army relies on civilians militia ruled by warlords, they need to have an easy time to armed their population to fight for them. but It's surprising.... I thoug those warlords tend to keep their weapons only for their core troups, to aboid armying the oppositions. "Come back to America" Yuri said. Am I the only one thinking they shouldn't have lest America in first place? But politic is so complicated...I better keep my mouth shut. Am I also the only one feeling really bad for the civilian? imagine, you just buy your food (or what you can in a country with starvation) and all of the sudden, helicopter is deploying soldier and militia who began to shoot everywhere and you get stuck between those two in crossfire! 🤯😨.... OUCH !!! I guess the soldier can't do a "thumb's up " anymore...sorry...it was too tempting! 😇😅 Child soldier too ?! 😨and it's the child who killed the other ones?!! 😨😨 Seriously, Becoming deaf like that is extremely easy! being deaf is actually one of the most common thing for soldiers (mostly of they don't protect well their ears). How many ammo have they on them exactly??? I wonder if they really shoot that much IRL....Because, how can they shoot like in the movie without being out of ammo in less than 2 hours of fighting.... I verified, the battles lasted for 15 hours. how did they still have ammo after all this time if they shoot like in the movie? 😂 (but i'm not a modern warfare expert...at all. ask me about roman legion or medieval army or even early modern one OK. but modern one, I cant help you much). "Why you worry about your balls?"🤣 Ok if he wasn't dying, it will be very funny! 🤣 Well, the somalian soldier made a big point! in those country, because of how their society is going (mostly after "western help"), it's extremely naive to think they just have to catch 1 warlord to bring peace.... "there's 2 side" Yes, between those folowing the warlords and getting all the food and weapons and those who doesn't want it. for short...extremely short, because i'm just as lost as you. For the conclusion Who remember the RTS video games : "Command and Conquers Generals"? I had a lot of flashback of the american campaign's 2th level with this movie! But the movie does a great job showing the horrors of war (mostly with the civilians) witouth exagerating too much on the gore of the battlefield (like hacksaw ridge can do).Yes, there's some and sometimes very hard, but they don't overuse it. Now, I don't know how I must fell about how the american are again the "heroes" , the good guys. in this case...in a way, yes. they bring food and protection from the UN. But , did they really made things better or just spilt more blood for nothing... I'm not sure and I don't want to debate about it either... it's hard. "No one left behind" yeah, it's a noble sentiment, as long as your still alive or in one piece at the end... and let's be real, IRL, it doesn't happen a lot. soldiers are meant to die...at the end. For short, good movie! the visuals are good, the tension is there! but it's just me who can't unsee what it's realy showing... a population starving caught between the US's soldier and one warlords amongts dozens... and they are the one paying the cost the most... The movie is good, but I can't "like" it. Not because of his story and characters but because, Im seeing beyond. I'm not sure if i'm clear... but I'll do with that. A good time with you nonetheless. Have a beautifull day, Angels!
