team trashy/certified trash goblins - 2 raffle tickets

Don't feel obligated, but if you want to donate like, IDK, a dollar (IDK if venmo lets you donate 50 cents) to "Kyle's oven kinda exploded" fund, any patron can get ONE extra ticket (please include your patron account name if you donate so I can match it up - and don't feel obligated, please - I don't want some of the big raffles to be price locked, but I won't turn down a dollar for my new oven fund lol - but seriously don't feel obligated)

The tl, dr i I got to product test a newer model from Mecrob. It was fun todo, but I would rather let someone who really enjoys models give it some love. P.S. I may or may not have tightened some things incorrectly, so totally one of its legs fell off and I couldn't figure out how to best reattach it, so the winner will receive the assembled spider, the instructions, the extra pieces, which I'm pretty sure includes a washer I didn't put on correctly.

mmagio .

it looks like a lightning bug

Think the model is really cool…not sure if it is straight-up sci-fi or perhaps a smidge steampunk.

Eddie Heisser

Reminds me of the mechanical spider from the Aladdin TV show

Kevin

Nice!

Cosplays_from_Trash

Yeah! Rats are already scavengers, so in their worldbuilding of a world where mechanical scavenged parts turn to life... makes sense, right?

Rabenfeder

Bug is amazing, love the design. also youre oven exploded? And also i would love to donate, but venmo is something i dont know.

Kenny

I would like to know the lore of the exploding oven!!! 🤨

Joel Wallgren

There is a contemporary art gallery, called The Mattress Factory, in Pittsburgh, which is near where I live. During the late spring/early summer they had an exhibit by an artist from Ghana, named Akwasi Bediako Afrane, who makes functional installations from discarded electronics waste, sometimes combined with augmented reality. I went to see the exhibit, and his art seems to be in the same spirit as both you and Mecrob in the reuse of discarded material. The aesthetic also has some similarity to Mecrob. Anyway, I enjoyed the installation, and I am dropping a link to the museum website about the exhibit. Unfortunately, the exhibit closed at the end of June, but check the artist out. https://mattress.org/exhibition/6858/

Mine decided last year to just stop heating. Tried to fix it but no dice. And I was in the middle of baking

Thomas

Neat!

Bill McDowell

Seems like a really cool product. Hope they stay as your partner/sponsor.

It looks evil

I love the concept of a model from industrial trash. When I was doing hobby modeling as a kid, I loved taking old models and using them for kitbashing new things. My one question for you... what are you going to make out of the seemingly hundreds of static-shielded zip-lock bags? Let me know if you have a giveaway for those! :)

Luis C.

Very cool idea and raffle!

RP Hall

Soooooo many tiny little pieces. Normally don't care about size, but...

Steven Eson

seems like a cool company.

Spiders terrify me!!!

Runus

Looks pretty cool

Cosplays_from_Trash

So fun fact, I'm actually going to be doing giveaways of Kyle's trash (and I'll have a poll on types of things to giveaway) as long as shipping isn't crazy. This can totally be one of those things!

Judd Bray

That’s awesome!

Samir Roy

This looks kind of like the mechanical Freddy’s glove from New Nightmare, love it.
