Since Primal Conjurer is now complete, I thought it would be fun to catch up with the latest advances in art generators and create some images that capture Ryn's lovely auxiliaries. RGP did a great job with the covers for my books, but it's always fun to see some different takes.

I was going to post these under an Art Supporter post, but I decided to make it public since I really like how these turned out. I know everyone sees these characters a bit differently, but I definitely think these images capture the beauty and personality of each of these lovely ladies..

First, here's Saphi on the night of the Solstice Festival at the Primal Academy. Her blue dress came out wonderfully and I love her shy but sincere little smile.

Next, of course, we have Lena on the same night in her lovely red dress. I really like how the details on the dress came out as well, and her playful smile.

Next we have Mistress Aurienda on a bright day at the academy. If her hair looks a little messy, and her blouse a little unruly, it's likely because she just finished "instructing" Ryn on some of the skills he'll need to learn to bond his auxiliaries.

This image of Nephale came out really well, and I think it captures both her beauty and her warrior spirit.

Here's a lovely shot of Glory in the Clarion Flight Academy. I'm sure Honor is standing just out of this shot enjoying some hay.

Finally, we have Cressa on the night of the Solstice Festival in her lovely purple dress. If Ryn had decided to train with her instead of Lena, his life would have gone very differently.

Sweet Serials

The hell is up with the background on the left side of Cressa's portrait?

Aurienda's buttons look like they're holding on for dear life while praying they make it through a stretch or deep breath without popping off.

IMO these are far superior to the art that was used for the book covers, those figures looked strangely doll like and Aurienda in particular was entirely lacking in the mature sexy librarian vibe that was so central to her character.
