Hey folks! Psionic Elite 2 has now been out a few days and has been doing really well. It actually got its orange tag (best seller!) and people seem to be enjoying it! I just finished the first draft of Psionic Elite 3 yesterday, and it feels like another banger. I'll be starting work in Queen's Kestrel 4 soon, but first, I wanted to give you a peek at two other new projects.

The first (and completed!) project is a standalone haremlit adventure that might be spun into a series if it does well enough. I had a silly idea to gender flip The Wizard of Oz (making the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion all hot ladies, and making Dorothy a male South Carolina game warden) and ended up writing The Warlock of Oom, a fairy tail/road trip adventure with fun and sexy times.

Here's the blurb!

He’s off to kill the warlock. The horrible warlock of Oom.

After a pair of twisters drop game warden Walker Gale, his lifted truck, and his loyal dog into the magical land of Oom, he meets a brilliant farm girl afflicted by a dim wit’s curse, a beautiful steel soldier who longs for the ability to feel emotions, and a brave lionfolk girl cursed with a faint heart.

After being blessed by a very good witch and cursed by the Wicked Warlock of Oom, Walker vows to drive all three of his lovely companions to the Steel City. There, using his wits, his dog, and his guns, Walker hopes to force the Wicked Warlock of Oom to break their curses and save the land.

If he fails, the warlock will kill them all. But if he succeeds, he’ll earn a home, a family, and love.

The book is complete and will be out through Royal Guard Publishing. I'll see about getting an ARC up for folks on the paid tiers at some point soon. We aren't sure on a release date yet, but it should be in the next few months.

Since this is a standalone book rather than a series, we're going to hold off an audio initially, but if it does well enough, we'll be getting an audio book as well. Since most of the money in audio is made on omnibuses, it's a little risky to do audio on a single book that hasn't yet sold well. So, we'll play it by ear.

The first lovely lady Game Warden Walker Gale meets while driving his lifted trick along the Blood Brick Road is Wren Hardtack, a 22 year old woman whose village strapped her to a post in a cornfield after she committed what was, in their eyes, an unforgivable crime. The village leader also cursed Wren with dim wits, meaning she constantly feels drunk and free of inhibitions.

After rescuing Wren from her fate, she joins Walker on his journey to the Steel City and, when she puts on a Curse Blocker ring, Walker can speak with her "real" self for brief periods. They start out not trusting each other but grow closer on the road and very close by the time the book ends.

I'll have more information about Nine (my gender flipped Tin Man) and Farah (my gender flipped cowardly lion) over the next few weeks, as well as a look at Aurora (my not gender flipped good witch) and, finally, Rex, Walker's loyal dog.

The second new project isn't one I can tell you too much about yet, but it is one I'm really excited about. I'm teaming up with Virgil Knightley to write a collab book riffing on a popular and corny kid's show (and series) from the 90s. I can't say much more than that yet, but it's gonna' be fun!

Virgil is a fantastic writer, and I'm having a blast working with him. I also hope that our collab can get me in front of some of his audience and grow my brand. I'll have more info about that as it gets closer to completion.

A gender flipped Wizard of Oz haremlit is a brilliant idea. I honestly can’t believe no one thought of that. There probably is a reverse harem of it. You collabing with Virgil Knightley is probably the best news I’ve heard this year so far. My guess for the mysterious 90s show is: Boy meets World.
