March Plans, A New Series, and a Commission Update (Patreon)
Content
Hey folks! I just wanted to let everyone know the latest as far as my production schedule goes, and what to expect in March 2026.
As of yesterday night Urban Sorcerer 4 is up to 55,500 words, which is over halfway done, and I hope to finish by 3/12 or sooner. That means, at the latest, I'll have an ARC for everyone in early March ahead of the official release on 3/26.
I was finally able to snag another artist to do a new art commission, and at some point in the middle of March I hope to have some sexy art of Salem from Urban Sorcerer. I may also have in-progress sketches and updates, which I'll post as they arrive.
As always, I'll post the final commission for Art Supporters first, then everyone else a week or so later. I also want to give another huge thank you to everyone who supports my work, whether you're supporting my books, commissioned art, or both. I truly appreciate all of you.
I've also finished the first draft of the first book of my next series, Mirror Mage. Below is an early draft of the book one cover.
For those curious, Mirror Mage is an urban fantasy mashing up elements from Warlock by Daniel Kensington, The Magicians by Lev Grossman, and the manga and anime series GATE. I expect to write at least six books in the series, and have the progression planned out.
Mirror Mage is set in the same world as Urban Sorcerer, but in a different part of the country with a new cast. I plan to publish the first book like at the end of Q2, or early Q3 2026. This is to ensure I first wrap up Queen's Kestrel (the series) and then get Urban Sorcerer 5 done before diving heavily into another series. I will now stick with two series at a time.
For Mirror Mage, I also have tentative audio plans in place with Royal Guard Publishing that I hope to tell you more about once they're finalized. I'm excited to share them when I can, and thanks to my close relationship with RGP, I hope to land another pair of stellar narrators.
Also, since Mirror Mage is a brand new series, and I've already finished a first draft, I've decided to publish the entire book on Patreon for everyone who is on either the Book Supporter or Art Supporter tiers. I will publish a few chapters a week similar to how Daniel Kensington publishes new chapters of his Warlock series, with the whole book spooling out over several months.
My goal with this new approach (which will start in mid-March) is to both provide more interesting content for folks on all tiers and to also get more early eyes on the new book before it's released, especially since it will drop in easily digestible chunks. This is an approach similar to that other authors have taken on Royal Road, though I don't plan to publish anywhere outside Patreon. This is to avoid the book being scraped and stolen.
While I will do my best, Mirror Mage may have some rough edges without an editor, so you can expect typos. I may even alter or change elements of the book prior to its Amazon release if it makes sense. But my plan is to drop the entire book over a few months and incorporate feedback as needed, which I hope will give me a much stronger Book 1 out of the gate.
Of course you're under no obligation to read the new book ahead of time, but I would absolutely appreciate your early reader and beta feedback. I hope you'll enjoy this new story. I will also continue to release ARCs as normal, including Queen's Kestrel 7 when it's ready.
Thank you for all of your support!
