I really wish I could binge watch this show with you! Twice a week is not enough! 😁🤣🤣 Lena is doing exactly what you said, if the government and army is corrupt and doesn't play by logical laws, why should she. Plus she wishes to fight, survive, and reach the play Shin and the 86 did, that was her promise to herself. With the black uniform and red steak of hair, she is now wearing/flying all five colors of the flag and doing her best to live up to those standards. Also, while walking through HQ, the sword separates her head from her body continuing the imagery throughout the series.

They learned what the Republic of San Magnolia was doing to the 86 from Shin and the others during their counseling sessions. The Federacy of Giad was created from the remains of those who rose up and overthrew the Empire of Giad who created the Legion. Because of that they are still fighting against the Legion. Also so very sad you watched the ending which spoiled some things which its the new opening. Also the metaphorical image you saw of Rei carrying Shin was in reality Rei transferred his consciousness into another Legion body and "rescued" them by physically carrying their unconscious bodies and Shin's Juggernaut East towards the Federacy's Western frontlines. The Federacy did destroy that bot and confusingly "rescued" them in turn, and here we currently are. I will also say pay attention to the dates at the bottom when they show them as they help establish timelines.

I'm sorry for the "☝️🤓" but Frederica's VA is not the same as Kishirika. Frederica's VA does Xiaolan in apothecary diaries and Hawks in the seven deadly sins. Kishirika's one does Index in Toaru, Myne in Ascendance of a bookworm and Crush in Re:zero.

Nah you’re good 😂 I wasn’t 100% certain it just sounded very similar in my head

So this isn't season 2 but season 1 second Cour. So just Episode 12, sadly every 86 fan is holding on to hope of seeing a season 2.
