As the render queue is still working on the last few renders and redoing the ones I couldn't fix in post, I might as well write this.My original plan was to finish the entirety of Chapter 1, release that to supporters, cut it at the end of day 2 and release that as the demo for everyone else. All this to coincide with AR1's Steam release in July. However, with that happening in June and with the renders for the demo section done, I decided to change things up a bit and will start working on the demo as soon as my PC actually becomes usable (aka it's done with rendering) and release it as soon as it's done (with the staggered release for the various sub tiers). This is not only for the aformentioned reason of releasing it as close to AR1's Steam release as possible, but also because: - I don't wanna go TOO long without releasing content;- I can start getting feedback before I commit to ~400 more renders;- This was a good month for me IRL and was able to buy several song licences, which is something I thought I wouldn't have been able to do this month.- ...I'm getting kinda antsy and there's some stuff I wanna do for this game that I don't even know if I can do, so I'm excited to try it.So, what's it going to be in this demo?Without spoiling too much, it's almost 700 renders, the entirety of day 1 and 2, several lewd situations and 1 and a half sex scenes. This last bit is the one that got me a bit worried. I'm happy with the pace of the game, but if I see that another sex scene is needed I will probably take a couple more days and sneak another one in (I kinda got an idea as to where to place it already). Also, since this game will have stats that determine things, I want it to have 3 modes:- Standard, where you go in completely blind;- Walkthrough, that gives hints as to what the choices do nad highlights the best ones, much like in AR1;- Cheat (though probably called something different), where the points don't matter and you can see all the scenes.THIS NEXT SECTION INCLUDES SPOILERS, SO PLEASE, READ WITH CAUTION OR SKIP! IF YOU SKIP, I'LL SEE YOU SOON WITH MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE DEMO RELEASE.Valerie VS VioletLet's talk about the MC for a moment. She's at a different point in life compared to her mother, not only in terms of age but in terms of needs and wants. At her core, Violet wanted to find a place where she belonged. Her family basically abandoned her, her first love was forcibly taken away from her and the corporate life was makind her cynical. She knew who she was, what she was capable of, but she was alone.Valerie, on the other hand, already found where she belongs: her loving family of too many moms that chose to take her in. She's got a great "support group", but she still needs to find who she is.That doesn't mean that she's a blank slate. When I wrote her I kept her time in the orphanage and her upbringing in mind. She's kinda baffled by all the petty college squabbles (there's worst things in life, she saw them first hand) and she sees the bigger picture, which often leads her to stick her nose in other peoples problems to help them find a solution.HOW will she do that will be up to you.Spoon VS SockObviously, there's a cat. He only briefly appears at the end of the chapter, but he's there and he's here to stay. And yes, I'm about to launch myself in an in-depth analysis of some talking cats. The cats, by the design, mirror their owners. Spoon needed to find a place where he belonged like Violet and, like her, was well aware of who he was and what he could do and had picked up some idiosyncrasies from his previous owner.Sock, on the other hand, it's a kitten. He's got no clue of who he is, where he is and, considering he's orange, probably doesn't even fully realize that he is a thing that exists (seriously, orange cats share one brain cell between all of them). He's a tiny ball of chaos that only wants food, pets from her new mom and to spill blood for the Blood God. (and this time you won't even need to leave him behind for the Legend ending... mainly 'cause the Legend ending is a regular ending this time around, but anyway...)Also, while the joke of the very eloquent cat was funny and probably contributed to 80% of AR1's success, I didn't want to do the exact same thing again.I'm very excited (and quite nervous) to finally put AR2 in front of y'all to play and I'll do my best to do so as soon as possible!

Considering the points don't matter, call the cheat way "The Whose Line Route"

Have had orange cat, can confirm single brain cell theory. Looking good as usual!
