Couple of things to talk about this week, so let's immediately start with the game.I got back to work on Tuesday after my forced hiatus (more on that later) and finished day 1 of the update (aka the Thursday of week 2).

Progress towards the end of this week was a bit slower than usual 'cause a couple of the gags required some photoshopping and asset-making, as well as the always unpleasant task of using dForce to put the girls under a blanket and some technical issues (again, more on that later).I've already set up the next scene for the start of day 2 of the update (Friday), which should be the "largest" day (meaning there's a lot of variants, but it's not "long" in terms of playtime).Through the week I'll get a clearer idea on how big it's going to be and I'll the decide if it'll be the cutting-off point for the first part of the chapter (IF I end up splitting it into two parts).

But why did I get back to work on Tuesday? Well, I mentioned in the last one of these that I'd go to a games convention 2 weeks ago. And I did... only to get IMMEDIATELY sick. So sick that my parents had to drive 6 hours to come and pick me up.I spent the rest of the week bedridden (in case you haven't been following for long or haven't picked it up from the past devlogs, I'm not the healthiest person), and was only able to get back to work on Tuesday.

That was then followed by my PC starting to randomly freeze and crash out of nowhere!I was able to determine the cause, I think.I ran a bunch of tests and sifted through crash logs and apparently my CPU was overheating. I moved the PC a bit to increase the airflow, did some thorough cleaning of the fans and downloaded a utility to monitor CPU temps. This seems to have somewhat resolved the issue, but it was still a lot of wasted time (and panic).

Hopefully things will get back on track soon 'cause I'm tired of wasting time (mine and yours).See y'all next week!

Hey, don't stress. The main thing is that you're okay. And if the next act takes longer, then it takes longer.

Putting the girls under the blanket seems to be a pain in the ass. But I must say it add a lot of realism. It always feel odd when in a VN, the characters sleep over the blanket.
