As far as you guys probably know, i live and work in Russia for my entire life. This country isn't the richest one, and lots of stuff that was made by our government is confusing at best. These actions were pretty tolerable. But now we're having a situation when absolutely insane stuff started to happen, and the hell let itself loose. You might probably think that i'm living far away from action, and this shouldn't affect me. Well, it's true that nobody conducting artillery strikes against my city and there's no invasion of any sorts here. Anyways, all reasonable russians feel themselves as a participants of ongoing meatgrinder. We all have connections and relatives in Ukraine. My father was a soviet officer, and he undergone his education in Vasilkov, Ukranian city near Kiev. I was there before 2014, and it was a beautiful, peaceful town untill now. Right now it looks like a hell`s branch. I talked to my friend from Kiev via telephone call recently, and our chat was interrupted with the sound of Air raid sirens.Covid days were so sweet and easy in comparison. "It's hard to plan ahead when the pandemic raging around", we said. Right now i don't know what would happen in a several hours increment, not to mention something like tommorow perspective. Ruble is insanely volatile, i already lost tons of money because of it. And i don't know if i'll be able to roll this patreon in any reasonable perspective. Rumors say we'll have our credit cards and PayPal blocked, and it means that i'll loose my job.We Russians effectively lost our future because of these insane actions. It is a war without concrete goals or justification. People are dying there from both sides without any proper reasons. I'm fully against it.These days are very hard for all of us. I can barely make myself continue with my job, i don't eat and sleep well, and each day since 24th is revolving around smashing that F5 button on a news reel. It fucking sucks to feel myself as a citizen of Russia atm. I can now imagine how US folks felt when US invaded Vietnam, except we can't actively protest against it because of how oppressive our government is to anyone who's not supportive about it.Please forgive me if i wouldn't work as much as before these days - it's a very nervous and unpredictable time for us all. Nobody knows what would happen tommorow, nobody knows how it would end, but we all know for sure - nothing good will happen. Here's a picture of my doggo - she is adorable and she doesn't give a shit about what is happening. And she's amazing.Peace.
