Fightober Day 7: Size Difference (Patreon)

There had to have been some sort of mistake....

Aaron was told this was a rookie bout. Nothing official, but enough to at least get his name out there right?

He knew the opponent could've been any gender and was prepared for that. But this mountain of a woman....

"Are you um...always this...intense?"He winced at the sound of his own voice, it was as small as he felt.

"It is just my face." Came the straightforward reply. Was that a Russian accent?

"Ah, I see....They...are you...sure you're in the right place?" Maybe it was him, actually. He got the address wrong or went in the wrong venue or-

"You are making fun of me?" One of her heavily shadowed eyelids twitched slightly.

Pump the brakes Aaron! Reverse-reverse!

"Can I be honest?"

"It is recommended..."

"I'm not brave enough to make fun of anyone I have to look UP at." Humor can melt the iciest of hearts in his experience. That or it can distract someone enough for him to run...

Luckily, one corner of her dark lips twitched ever so slightly upward. Not much, but better than that murderous stare from before! The blonde knew he was stalling, one of the organizers started to tap their pen against their desk impatiently, but he couldn't help but ask:

"You don't look like an amateur. I-in the best way I mean! Can I...what uh..."

"Wrestled before. Boxing is new. Very different." He was starting to find her direct way of speaking almost....endearing? Maybe she didn't know how damn intimidating she was? Or he wasn't much of a threat to her.

He was fine with either.

"What made you want to...?"

"Boss," another twitch of her lips and a whisper of a smile. Someone she's fond of then? "My job is to please and protect her. More so please. This excites her. She wants me more skilled, so we're starting small again."

"Oh, she's a fan of-?"

"It makes her wet."

Oh...

At least his new confusion somewhat overrode his nervousness.

Only somewhat....
