*Puts on a gigantic thinking cap* Option 1 hasn't been properly canonized as Itagaki focused less on their relationship throughout the later half of the manga,not to mention there's plenty of that one to be found all around. That's a maybe for me but I'm leaning more toward the other ones Option 2 is a suprsingly good one that stands out for how heartfelt it can be at times,strong contender if i've seen one. Option 3 similar case to the first one in regards to its canonicity but that one also offers the most creative freedom for setting/background/story etc. All around good option with alot of potential. Option 4 is undoubtedly the most notorious one of out the bunch being revamped/redone thousands of times over. Offering a great dynamic with even more creative freedom for the story. Great option for people who want to see unique interactions. *Hard pass for me,since the fandom kind of soured my perspective on relationships.

Outside of the main adaptations for the other franchises,UT is an odd case where that ship has been overdone far more throughout its lifetime. Being more popular in the sense that its had more time to develop with its release predating the other ones. What I was trying to get at is that when compared to the others UT has the disadvantage of being explored more through in its fandom,having been developed far longer. *Mind you that the quality of the ship is dependent on your own perspective. Fan writers drastically vary in talent and it can show with those particularly bad stories. Shipping drama in that fandom makes waterboarding look like a walk in the park by comparison.
