There was a little oopsie this morning where I discovered that, of all the things I have checked and double-checked, I hadn't yet seen what it looks like in dark mode. Little did I know that Kindle removed transparency from images, so all the backgrounds for the POV headers were white, making it look a little ugly! I've uploaded a new version, which is live on Amazon now, and should propagate to the other sites over the next few days. Alternatively, it can be found on the Highlord+ post!

I've been given so much support, in so many forms, for this to happen that it feels a little strange asking for one more thing; but if you've purchased the book on one of these platforms, I would love it if you could add a review, whether that's copying an existing one from SH/RR, or putting down a sentence or two :) Getting those first few reviews is the hardest and would help the long-term reach of the series so much!

2026 has been a rocky year for me, with lots of stress pulling my mental energy in different directions. All those stressors are gone now, leaving me free to end 2026 strong and continue into 2027 with all kinds of Amelia shenanigans.
