[NSFW] Magic Touch (Patreon)

Something a little self indulgent in between work pieces as I try to get more comfortable with drawing for longer hours than I have been in the past while. The characters in the piece are Oume (mine) and Rhel'ir (Zed Wei's). Alongside shipping Neriah and Tegusken, we've paired off my Au'ra girl and his Miqo'te boy to make for a goth gf and lovable asshole bf duo.

I really enjoyed lining this piece; as most people know, line art has never really been my strong point, but as of late, I feel like I've gotten a good grasp of the type of line art I want to do. The same can't completely be said for my colouring, as this time around I found I was a bit challenged by the method I'd established when working on pieces similar to this, namely how hard I need to press my pen when I block out the base/flat colours. I plan to experiment a little more in the near future so that I can maintain this nice flat style, while also removing any needless risk to my wrist/hand health.

Speaking of colouring, I also played around a bit with an alternate version of the piece which you can see above as well. I wanted to get across how passionate and eager the two of them are, and depicted it through a plethora of markings - from hickies, to bites, to lipstick marks. I can't decide which version I like best, but I hope you enjoy them both!
