GameDev Diaries. MEFF Episode 4! (Patreon)

Hello, my patrons and followers! It’s great to be writing again about what we’ve managed to get done by the start of this week. And we’ve got plenty to brag about.

I’ll start at the end. Ha-ha. The first 15% of Episode 5 is already written. And, damn it, I really missed the little jokes and all the fun stuff you can add to 18+ scenes.

You know, for some reason it seemed to me that the game had become a bit too “academic”—there weren’t enough instances of using shoes or tubes of cream for purposes other than their intended ones.

Anyway, after the third episode, I realized it was too vanilla. Episode 5 is going to kick things into high gear. We’re really going to make it hot and fun.

And following that, in Episode 5, I want to add the option to use props in the scene with Eva—if you’ve been a bad boy.

Okay, great—we’ve figured out the ending, so let’s move on to the beginning.

Awesome news: we have less than 100 art assets left before we start testing Episode 4. And it’s going to be—well, absolutely on fire!

I’m already jealous of Janna for all those guys. And this part—brrr, it gives me chills.

Hey, testing will start very soon, and then comes our long-awaited release. I just hope we can get everything done exactly the way I envision it. Episode 4 out of 18—man, the game is nearing 25% completion, and there’s still so much left to do. But even now, it’s a full 4 hours of gameplay, maybe even more.
