How closely do your in-game decisions in video games reflect who you really are and what you'd actually choose?

Grey Warden

While I do have fictional alter egos that I play as, their decisions often are close enough to what I would have done and I definitely would never do something in a game that I am opposed to in real life.

I pick options that closely match my character's personality. I'm also keenly aware it's a game at the same time when I make choices, so I'm focused on picking what's "right" for the stats I've specifically chosen to focus on. Which is something interactive fiction authors drill into your head at the beginning of most stories.

Limi

It depends! I like to have an OC and decide what their personality is like beforehand, especially for Choice Games. Although, upon subsequent playthroughs, I'll pick options and play a character type I normally wouldn't.

Chaneyi

Mixed. It's a lot of me but with certain parts being the character I created in my head, including certain stances I wouldn't necessarily share or act upon.

Kinkaz

I usually make up & play as multiple characters, but a lot of the time they make choices I would also make (or would think Id make) if I were in that situation. At least alignment wise.
