Just a lazy lizard - Masami to the Alligator 🐊

I always felt that our Ronin finding out that his spirit animal was the Akita Inu was fitting with him calling the imperial samurai the "emperor's dogs" in a sort of ironic way. I also liked their reaction in that scene the best out of all the other animals because I felt much more emotion in it compared to others where they're pretty much just shrug it off

Fireflies conjure up images of innocence, a child bewitched by the light they chase-- An intriguing notion when compared to a ronin's bloody existence. And we are oh so sparkling lovely, flashing to distract from all pain, always to illuminate from within...

Lord Lorac

I like both Akita Inu and Firefly for what they represent for the Ronin. like Quaintrelle say, their is some innocence in the ronin who hasn't really grew up (it's particulary right when he is "charming"). I won't be surprised if I find out that my Rin-chan is afraid of the dark, of ghost and other childish fear (... ironic, I've got the same fear ^^).

I just love the idea of a brutish and debauched killer having a cute lil bird as their spirit animal.

When I first played through the game, the natural way I RP'd my ronin led me towards choosing the Firefly, and I've always felt like it was something special. Somehow, the words that Toshie said made me think that the ronin is, in fact, a firefly: many people following his light through the darkness. I know, it's stupidly cheesy, but I've always imagined all the spirit animals following after the firefly. Also, who would imagine a small bug being the spirit animal of a seasoned ronin? That's just my two cents anyway.

Grey Warden

Akita Inu and chipmunk. I love how angry he is with the dog but his squirrel he defends saying if someone can make fun of it than he is the only one. XD While I like the chipmunk I will stay with the dog as the main though. Already got too used to it.
