He was so lost in his reverie that the sudden vibrations of his phone nearly caused him to fling the ice cream cone into his lap. He fumbled quickly, pulling his phone from his shorts pocket.
"I know."
He opened the attachment. It was him—a private photo from his FetLife account, his face half-hidden behind a mask. Beneath it, his name and home address were listed.
Sasha's eyes darted nervously around the street, paranoia immediately gripping him. The crowd now felt sinister, and each stranger's gaze bore into him like an accusation.
A second message appeared, deepening the chill that crawled up his spine:
"Meet me at the large oak tree at Grange Park in 2 hours, or this goes out to everyone you know."
