Rooster Teeth Acquisition News (Patreon)

Happy Wednesday, Stinkers!

You may have seen the news that our former company, Rooster Teeth was acquired by original founder, Burnie Burns. We’ve seen a few questions about how or if this affects Tales from the Stinky Dragon.

To quickly answer that question - it doesn’t! 

While Stinky Dragon started as a show under Rooster Teeth, we were able to take full ownership of it after the company’s closure in May. We are not involved with this new acquisition, nor will it change anything for us! You can read more about this acquisition at RoosterTeeth.com and the press release linked on that website.

We wish Burnie, who has always been a huge supporter of Stinky Dragon, the best of luck - and are excited to see what he makes with Rooster Teeth!

I love that it's all in your hands anyway. On a slightly unrelated note: in the last episode regarding the Council easter egg. I was wondering, what are the chances of old campaign characters "world-hopping" and popping up as NPCs? I think that would be such a fun little nod to the listeners.

It's super exciting that RT is back into Burnies hands, and as a community we should all wish him the best of luck. But you guys do you. Independent or otherwise we will follow you anywhere you go! I am excited about the new stuff he is doing though. Mentioning Day 5 inspired stuff got me really excited
