That's Dr. Ahem, he was in the First Campaign. His assistant, Duncan, was the bartender in Grotethe. So we had Western Gus playing Guzzler (bartender 1), Deep voice Gus playing Duncan from the Infinights campaign (bartender 2) and now Micah playing Dr. Ahem from the Infinights campaign (bartender 3). So lore-wise, the Stinky Dragon Tavern is set in Faeza, the world from Infinights, because the Infinights Characters are the bartenders. and yes, micah was at the end of grotethe, along with Setate Termpoor. They were both Infinights Characters, so perhaps they are part of the multiverse. That was probably really confusing.

Hello friends, as a sailor I’d like to compliment Gus for using correct terminology so far! But! I swear to god if the next episode anyone says “prow” when they mean “bow” I’m gonna lose it. (Prow is the horn shaped thing at the VERY very front. Bow is just the front generally. But for some reason people telling fantasy stories on ships love saying people are standing on the prow, a very very bad idea! Unless you’re a seagull I guess.)

I hate to be that guy, but Shadow Portal was so cool I had to look it up, and I've found a snag; it has a material component of a door latch worth 50 gold that the casting consumes. Nattie cast it twice, does she have 100 gold worth of door latches on her person? Is this the type of campaign that doesn't take spell prices into account, or does Gus just take the equivalent amount of money out of a character's wallet for components in the moment? I'm all for rules of cool, but its bugging me.

I feel like in the past they haven't cared as much about the components. I do agree that doing it twice is probably a no, but in general they tend to let it go if it makes sense. Otherwise they have to pay attention to purchases and finds, which in general they typically dont.

I’m very confused, respectfully, how the gnoll dog pile works. Is it a home brew mechanic? Because a normal grapple would be an action but not cause damage but 20 damage from 2 gnolls “dog piling” and not considering it an attack action is interesting to me.
