I like trying to find the most broken character to play.

I Love Gus is like I used to be "The Casual" play for 12 hours and go home lol ... I think 12 hours disqualifies you as casual but Gus is Awesome 😎 John I recommend reading The Secret Art of Notetaking by Luke Hart, easy read and helps you not get overwhelmed

When I ran a Villains and Vigilantes game back in the… day, our “Notekeeper” would scribble quick notes every now and then. He’d translate the notes into comic panels and hand them out at the beginning of the next meeting. It was AMAZING. He managed to always capture both major events and an embarrassing moment in 4-6 panels every week.

I’m getting back into mtg after like 15+ years and it blows my mind how much more complex it’s become. I’m definitely more of a casual player, not super into rules lawyer-ing. As long as we have fun, that’s enough for me 👍

I could not love this series more! I'm learning SO MUCH that I've always thought about while growing up around kids playing and DMing. ✨
