Trevor Collins not only hosts a spooky-vibes podcast, Red Web, and not only does that podcast have it's own supplemental podcast geared towards movie talk, Red Web Movie Club, but he is also the resident Stinky Dragon expert on "I somehow voice a lot of scary villains for you guys." So he felt perfect to invite on for a special Halloween episode of Stinky Pop asking him about all his favorite spooky movies.

I get too scared for scary movies, but Stinky Pop is always a good time to listen to ^^

Okay, but the "mother" song from the Chipmunk Adventure still makes me cry.

The jumpscare that still gets me is in Lord of the Rings when Bilbo lunges at Frodo, A) I hate sudden movements and B) I was in the theater when I first watched this and I was sitting next to my dad and I turned to him for comfort after that scene and he proceeded to do the same thing Bilbo just did to me. Traumatized me to this day.

2026-10-14 21:00 John, have you seen Anatomy? It was the first foreign film I ever watched. I watched it based on a recommendation and I had no idea it was a horror/ slasher film.

Nothing like interviewing Hugh Manor for the sake of horror

When they started talking about a horror movie villain you root for my immediate thought was Jigsaw from the Saw movies. He only punished people who did wrong and he still gave them a way out of the situation.

Also super underrated thriller/horror is Hush. Train to Busan is my pick for international horror movie
