One of the best episodes of the entire show, with a spectacular performance by all the actors, leading into what is regarded as the best arc in the season. Brace yourself because this arc is going to have quite a few surprises, both good and bad.

This episode really takes you for a ride! It was also the directorial debut of Jed Whedon, and I think it's safe to say he did an incredible job directing even more incredible acting. The Daisy/Jemma hug and LMD!May scenes get me every time. Re: Your confusion on Daisy, it's really sneakily done, but if you look at the screen last episode that shows there are 4 LMDs, the writing at the bottom says "compile all totals." Meaning the shot Jemma saw was really just 3 LMDs (Coulson, Mack, Mace), and the fourth was from a scanner LMD!Fitz tripped elsewhere in the base.

Somethings to clear up. In 4x14 Both Daisy and Simmons were separated from the team during the mission. Fitz was taken most likely when he and her split up, Phil was taken after leaving daisy, Mace was taken after getting beaten, Mack was taken after saving fake Mace. Simmons commented on how maze like the base was because her and Daisy searched for everyone for a long time. Aida didn't find them in time. There were many daisy because lmdmack said greeting all the inhumans shield has will be more efficient. Each daisy would go and kill each one at the same time. The LMD scan last episode said 4 lmd in total not four lmd in the picture. It scanned Fitz right before and Daisy was not one.

So you haven't seen Secret Invasion? Good, don't watch it. There's a few more Marvel projects I'd recommend you not watching. But if you ever get back into the MCU I'd recommend Deadpool and Loki season 2. What would be really interesting is doing a poll of which Marvel projects you should skip.

Now this is an episode I have been waiting for! Loved your reaction, so glad you found it as exciting as the rest of us. I will never tire from watching people see this episode for the first time. Apart from the absolutely incredible writing and narrative structuring on show here, which really is pretty mind blowing even considering the high standards of the rest of the show, the thing I always come back to is the absolutely amazing acting on display in this episode. Iain and Elizabeth give me chills every single time I see the scene of them trying to work out who the LMD is, (and I’ve seen it almost a dozen times by this point), and Chloe is so brilliant in Daisy and Simmons reunion scene. I just want to stand up and applaud them! This episode just feels like a real showcase for everything AoS can do so wonderfully, plot wise, character wise and all the rest. If it weren’t so tied up in plot, it would be my first pick to show to try and get someone into the show. It’s so damn good!
