You already saw the shiny. 😊 When someone is infected with the black oil he can do that. We saw that in season 3, in the piper maru/apocrypha twoparter. And it causes radiation burns on the victims.

You asked if there were any crossovers between The X Files and The Lone Gunmen. I don't know if you really want me to answer this in detail, because of spoilers. But even if we don't get reactions to the spinoff, you might want to watch it privately to be prepared for certain things 2 come in X Files, season 9. It's not a drama if you don't, but it would be a better overall experience in my opinion. However, great X Files episode. Season finale coming closer and closer. Looking forward to it. 😊

Correct. Up until this point, we've never see them "shine" up front or never from the victim's POV. We've always seem them shine in the background.

Actually we've seen it directly in "Piper Maru" as Gauthier's wife burns the French guys in the hallway.

Correct, I always loved about this episode that they returned to the Piper Maru "version" of the oil, the original version as I call it, as opposed to the Tunguska version.

One of my fave episodes, really an awesome season. Loved your reactions as always. The immunity of the guys was attributed to their genetics, they were actually of Native American descent as Scully explained. Also, as another user pointed out, we've seen the "shiny" thing before, in season three "Piper Maru". Looking really, really forward to the season finale.

I agree with this. Y'all need to watch The Lone Gunmen series. Whether you decide to record and post them as reactions is up to Shelley and Emily, but imho they absolutely need to watch it going into The X-Files season 9.
