The issue that Madam Hydra is trying to overcome is that in the real world, she has programming limitations that keep her from being fully autonomous and in control of their actions (such as murdering the people in the real world). It would also give her a flesh and blood body so she can be a "real girl" in every sense of the world. ...that girl clearly has some body issues.

Here's my understanding of things: Aida can put together the framework (no pun intended) to enact what she wants from the Darkhold, but she doesn't have the creativity/scientific understanding of how to make the device itself functional. For example, Eli built the quantum machine from the Darkhold, but actually doing stuff with it (create life) was something he had to figure out himself. Aida is essentially just a robot extension of Radcliffe since he made her. She doesn't inherently know any scientific concepts that Radcliffe didn't know, nor does she possess abstract thinking. And since Radcliffe didn't understand all of the Darkhold science (he said if he had 10 years maybe he could understand some of it), neither can Aida. So, her plan is to use evil!Fitz — who is just as smart as real!Fitz because he has the same consciousness, only without any moral restrictions — to fill in the blanks for her. He can finish the science, which then can be used to make the real world machine function and enable her to finally build a body for herself. She can then upload her consciousness, and since she'll no longer be bound by her programming and will have a real, human brain and body, she'll have the ability to form new thoughts and feelings like anyone else. I think the question of how the Framework machine and real world machine are connected is pretty much Darkhold hand wavey stuff. The Framework was augmented by the Darkhold, so Aida can draw from it just like Eli could draw energy from the dark dimension.

Funny enough Wanda and Strange used the darkhold in a similar way. Moving their consciousness into another body in another universe. Aida doesn't have a real body to put her consciousness in so she is using Eli tech to do it. Creating a body then basically dream walking into it.
