Looking back, the plot of this season is pretty much Secret Invasion, only with Chronicoms instead of Skrulls.

Stop spoiling things please. You don’t need to give behind the scenes stuff to change her expectations. I mean that’s just my opinion, but maybe I have a strict definition for spoilers. But saying “don’t expect him back for a while” spoils a huge mystery around watching this season if you’re going into it fresh.

The Chronicoms are evil geniuses (They have Fitzsimmons' minds so it makes sense) Going after the one thing shield hates would cause an interesting conflict morally and like you said would you even want to do it if it means they get to go on and do all the evil shit you know they will do. Interestingly we saw the end of Freddy's funeral in a season 3 flashback episode 3x16 . In 1970 The Malick brothers Gideon and Nathaniel were brought into Hydra fully that day. But later they learn their father secretly avoided going to Maveth planet by cheating. You may have forgotten but it was already suggested to them to time travel to save their planet. But the issue is they want a back up planet first just in case they fail.

Yes, this season is just so FUN! The idea and setting is so well constructed to be entertaining. And all the characters are on top form too. Honestly the more this season goes on, the more enjoyable and involving it is. I can’t wait to see the rest of your reactions! And plus, Enoch is back yay :)

Well, it's indicated that their old planet wasn't their original one, since it was called Chronyca-2. If there is a 2, there has to have been a 1.

Even though he was a late addition, Enoch definitely became a fan-favorite character of the show. Hopefully, they will integrate him and the Chronicoms into the official comics someday.

Your new comment in itself is a spoiler. What’s your deal? Why wouldn’t you just want the reactor to go in fresh as possible? Trailers for these episodes spoiled a ton of stuff like trailers too, is all that stuff fair game too? your comment is a spoiler and unnecessary. Unless a reactor says “hey can someone tell me how long he’s out for?” Why would you offer it thinking you know best what they want? Once they see a spoiler it can’t be unseen, it’s always best to not say anything and if they want to know something they’ll make it explicit. You mentioned S5, for instance. No one would know if Fitz was coming back in episode 4, episode 18, or not till the end. Postcard just said working on it. For all a new a viewer would know. Episode two of this season would open from Fitz’s perspective. But with your comment it erases that possibility because you thought it was best a reactor knows that not to be the case. I mean in this day and age comments spoil things constantly where every reactor should have mods who delete all these comments that spoil, intentionally or unintentionally. For some reason so many people can’t just let people go into a show fresh. They gotta say “in the comics *insert major spoiler*” and “set photos were going around the internet that showed *insert major spoiler*
