I didn' pay that much attention to the credits so I only found out it was a Ryan Murphy co-created show way into watching it. It did make a lot of sense when I heard it though XD

The first season is from 2018 and though it is on abc now, it started out on fox.

I'm soooo excited for these reactions. Can't wait to see you get to know these characters more. I love how much/little you know and why you decided to watch this show. I myself also started watching this show because of my tumblr mutuals. I had seen it trend time and time again and even had friends directly tell me about stuff and say I should watch it. So when I finally started watching a little over a year ago I did know a bit more about it already. I think I binged the first season in one week, only caught up to the current episodes earlier this year. I posted notes for every episode on my tumblr, but I can't recommend checking those since they are a bit spoilery, since I already had some knowledge of later stuff. I only started rewatching this show with my mom recently (we might finish s1 tonight), though she was a bit overwhelmed by all the dramatic calls the had to deal with, asking me what I got her into XD I'm also very intrigued how you reflect on your theory about the quality of the seasons past s1. This is going to be a fun journey.

Maybe consider switching 9-1-1 to twice a week and SPN to once a week. Will help you get caught up faster. Or just do some binges and just edit and post one a week. Otherwise the show's gonna be over before you can fully engage online or not get spoilers.

With the show currently on hiatus, its nice to see them all on my screen again. Not you calling him a "young buck" before knowing his name :) I enjoy the pace of the episodes. Generally having multiple calls per episode, keeps things moving without something getting overlong.

lol spn is already down to once a week. when i finish the rewatch next year, i might change 911 to twice a week. we’ll see!

Great reaction !! And as a first time watcher along with you, I really enjoyed that too! I have a feeling I’m going to get a bit stressed out watching this show though, so much happened in just one episode! I maybe wish we’d got to know a few of the characters a little better, but it’s only the first episode and I like everyone so far! And I had no idea Connie Britton was in this, I loved her on Friday Night Lights, what a queen. :)

Just started watching this show last year while waiting for the new season of The Rookie, and absolutely fell in love with it. Got a long way to get caught up, but it's going to be a fun ride.
