I am pretty sure that they ended it without a cliffhanger specifically because they probably assumed that more seasons were a longshot, especially given a political climate that legitimizes and gives voice to so much hatred.

On the Hannibal front, I would say that a strong case could be made for cannibalism, provided that the meat "donors" were all Billionaires... though I would probably save that for my dogs, personally. (Seriously... they have to serve SOME purpose in society other than being leeches, right?)

Well there is only one book after season 1 that is about Shane & Ilya, which is The Long Game aka book 6. BUT there is already another Shane/Ilya book announced, that is set to come out june 1st 2027 (so still a whhiiile to go until that). But there are also 3 more books in between this and The Long Game. Yes with different couples, but not completely loose from Shane & Ilya. So...

Back to finish my comment from the stucky trenches now that you're finished. When endgame disappointed me (not like I expected canon stucky, but I expected something better than that), I remember saying to a friend that we deserved to see a cinematic rotating shot of them kissing on the battlefield after they won. we were never gonna get it, but we deserved it! and then somehow, through the convoluted process of fanfiction and filing off names and romance publishing and adaptation and state sponsored filmmaking, we KIND OF GOT IT???
