Hey DieHards!

Welcome back for another episode of AOT. Today we are watching The Final Season, Episode 3. We found ourselves through out the week thinking about this show and trying to figure it ALL out. And thanks to everyone in the comments for helping us make sense of some things as well. Excited for today so let's hop in.

Still trying to figure out this confusing family tree AND more information. 🫨 All this new information is kind of humanizing the current crew a bit more for us. Enjoying the storylines and all the looks back.

Annie tailing Kenny was just her looking for the Founding Titan which was their main goal inside the wall. Remember Kenny works for the Reiss family. That's why when she met with Reiner and Berthold again in secret, she told them what she's been up to while the two were with their 'devil' friends.

There is no real dilution of Eldian Blood when it comes to an Eldian inheriting or being able to be turned into a Titan. A child descended of even one Eldian parent can become a Titan. Whatever the source of the power is, it’s in the blood & it is a dominant gene. 🧬

Annie was in the capital trying to track down information on the Royal Family & the Founder. Kenny, the Royal Family’s lapdog caught her. Annie thought of a lie to throw him off . She tried to kick his head off, but he’s an Ackerman. So all she could do was run away before she was captured.

Like others have said: Annie is not Kenny’s daughter. That was just a lie for her to run away. Another thing: that titan that walked past Berthold after he kicked the wall was NOT Annie. It was the titan that ate Eren’s mom (yes she had blonde hair). Remember: the titan that ate Eren’s mom was Grisha’s (Eren’s dad) wife back in Marley. She had royal blood.

The story bertholdt was listening to from that man who later committed suicide, is the same story he uses as his own when eren asks him about his experience when the titans broke into the walls.

Reiner was so confused and feels like he’s stuck in the middle because of what he’s been through, he always saw them as devils, but then he lived with them so it’s all confusing for him. That’s why he tried to k*** himself. I feel so bad for him.

Ahh when I watched it. I immediately remember that because his stories stuck to me!!! Back then I really felt bad for him!! like opening your window and seeing a titan in your face!! Ohh chills!!

Yeah reiner’s pov is messed up, he almost doesnt have any driving purpose. He worked so hard just thinking he can have a happy family only for that to go down the drain, then he convinces himself that at least he was chosen as a warrior for this purpose only to find out he wasnt even supposed to be chosen. He goes to paradis thinking “okay if I wipe out this devils, I can save the world” only to find they arent even devils, just regular people.

Yeah, and even the details of how they showed the story are the same, just replace bertholdt in the frame and it is the exact room, exact window, and exact titan
