I feel like this is pretty self-explanatory, but just to be clear, once I'm done covering all of the episodes from the first season of Real Time I need to move on to other stuff. Love the pod. Both my parents and my absolutely lovely grandmother still watch Real Time and so I too am regularly tortured by this ghoul's presence in a way seemingly no one else I know is. I envy all those whose exposure to him is limited to an isolated clip of him being a jackass appearing in their timeline every few months. I've never personally felt like I needed a podcast to exist before I found this one.

We need season 2 because it has the only thing I remember about Real Time from that. I think it might be the first “New Rule” rant of the season, but it’s basically “Stop playing ‘Hey Ya’” where Bill Maher says how sick of the song he is and compares to the novelty of “Who Let The Dogs Out.” I remember being so mad about it and glad that it’s only aged worse as that song continues to be 2000s classic (although, I admit I am pretty sick of it.)
