Some labels that fit Bill: Reactionary, anti-trad, anti-comp-het misogynist. Learning what he’s said about his home life growing up made everything snap into perspective. He seems incapable of empathy which makes learning and being funny basically impossible. The fabric store thing is so old-timey, I’d bet my right leg that was a personal anecdote. If he cares to ever feel like a whole person, I hope he seeks intensive therapy for whatever personality disorder afflicts him (my money’s on NPD), but I think hell will freeze over first.
