I know others may disagree, but the way I see it, the situation for Palestinians and other victims of American Empire is so dire, we do not have the luxury of not working with those on the right, including the fascists (which is a huge % of them anyway). This is the reality we face. The left wing anti-war movement is minuscule. We need a right-left coalition in Congress to fight the military industrial complex and Israel Lobby. The motivations for their votes is irrelevant to me. Millions of lives are at stake. Greene is definitely a fascist and indulges in conspiracy theories, anti semitism and Islamophobia. So how sad is it that before she left, she was one of the if not the leading voice in Congress against the genocide of Palestinians. She's also more consistently anti-war than others who are good on Palestine like Tlaib. She's been all in on funding the Ukraine proxy war including arming Nazis. AOC and other self labeled progressives voted no on her amendment to strip some iron dome funding. Contrast Greene's amendment with AOC's no vote and previous yes vote on Iron Dome funding and crying due to Pelosi's bullying. Unlike AOC, MTG never gave in to her bully (Trump) including on the Epstein Files. She fought for those victims for justice alongside Ro Khanna & others. Al Green, Summer Lee, Thomas Massie, Ilhan Omar & Tashida Tlaib voted for Greene:s amendment to defund Israel. She deserves tremendous credit for her leadership in opposing the genocide including calling out the hypocrisy of American Christians supporting Israel instead of the Palestinian Christians being slaughtered by US-funded Israeli bombs. She also named Israel as nuclear armed on the House floor which takes guts. She did more than almost any progressive Democrat. She spoke out and fought against the bombing of Iran and Yemen. Again, she did more than most progressives. It's a terrible loss to Congress that she left. I'll always give credit to Massie, Tucker Carlson & other right wingers who are anti-war at least against some wars. This is the first time in my life I've seen a right-wing anti-war movement and it's definitely something we need to build a coalition with, while not agreeing with their other awful views.
