"Bill Maher sits down with the Pod Gawd himself, Marc Maron, to have one of the most surface level conversations I can ever remember hearing on WTF. But it was still way more than Chris Hardwick got from him on his episode of the Nerdist, a listen so boring and bereft of depth that I literally abandoned it as the thing we were going to originally cover. I talk about it, don't worry."

Here's the episode description I'm going with after we recorded:

"Look, sometimes I decide to cover something I think will be fun, or will have some crazy clash of personalities, or there will be some great insights buried within. Essentially, I'm looking for... something. Unfortunately this week what my guest and I found was cause for some introspection, and then a kind of moroseness that settled over the recording."
